This does not contain anything from end game being as I have not beaten it yet but.
Why did they make the prewar beginning so short, they could have made it longer allowing you to experience the daily life of a prewar person. You go to work do some minigames, after that you head home have dinner go to bed. When you wake up the start of the game could happen the same way.
That would make it a lot more immersive, and show that it was easier during the prewar. |

| Honestly, I would choose any other Fallout than 4. I'm guessing the change from Fallout 3 and New Vegas was weird for some. It wasn't the worst game in the world, but it couldn't compare to the older ones. |

| If it would have shown more of the prewar it would have been cooler. |

| Fallout 4 lacked a great amount, and I do agree with you on the prewar. It would have been very interesting to see more of it before venturing off into the wastes. |

It would have made it a lot more sadder.
Seeing a beautiful shining city, now it's nothing but rubble. |

Definitely. I always thought Fallout in general was a pretty sad series. But might have made me tear up a little seeing that.

| I've only ever cried once to a video game. When your father (Liam) in Fallout 3 died,I broke down. |

I have almost cried a few times.
But like 25% of progress on crying, I have only happy and angry emotions. |

| Most of my emotions during video games are mild anger or severe indifference. That's why that one moment really affected how I viewed the game as a whole (nostalgia I assume). |

The only game that made me speechless was the fnf 3 good ending but the fan base wanted fnf 4 so bad.
I liked that ending better, it added a even sadder feel to the game.
But the fan base seems to always be the same wanting more and more and wants to sell their soul to the youtubers. |

Agreed. I do like FN@F (despite my overwhelming negative criticism to the games/fanbase) and honestly thought that after the second one, it should have ended and Scott should have made a new gaming series. YouTube is what really pushed all of the further games after it got so popular.
It's depressing when you a game series that needs to end be continually pushed and beaten to the point, it's not enjoyable anymore. |

Pretty much whats happening with fallout.
Excluding the ending part, but still the game did not need an advanced crafting system to be fun. |

Fallout is about civilizations that spring up after a nuclear war.
Why would they focus more on the pre-war?
Hell, the fact that you spend any time pre-war in fallout 4 ruins the game for me.

It would build up emotions.

Bethesda can't do emotional responses, their characters and writing is flat, they really wouldn't be able to make me care even if they made me spend half the game pre-war, it'd just make me angry and bored.

OP That is a horrible idea. It is an RPG where you create your own story, the already forced pre-war story does not belong in an RPG, the story doesn't even make sense for the female SS

Fallout 3 basically did the same thing.
If they did what they did for fallout 3 in fallout 4 it would end up better. |
