This afternoon, a UKIP Spokesperson today issued a statement on behalf of the United Kingdom Independence Party, in reply to the newly-elected Prime Minister's previous comments on the party. "The Prime Minister referred to us in his interview as "uncontrollable fruitcakes", deeply disrespecting His Majesty's Loyal Opposition, who will, no matter what their relationship with Labour, cause trouble for the Coalition. The majority of UKIP's MPs are indeed inexperienced, and in my opinion, undeserving of their place in the House of Commons. However, describing them as "disgraceful" shows a lack of professionalism from the Prime Minister." "I noticed that the Prime Minister also mentions that most of our electorate are foreign and newcomers. This may, or may not, be true. I haven't personally seen any published statistics showing the description of our voters sent by the Electoral Commission and I doubt he has either." "In conclusion, I personally believe that the Prime Minister needs to respect the UK Independence Party for the damage that they could, potentially, perform within this session of Parliament and the Coalition Government needs to look out." This is the first statement from the Opposition after the election. UKIP, with a vote of 23%, will have a tough time competing against the newly-formed Coalition Government this year, but it does appear they're unconcerned about any struggle, and optimistic about winning one in any case."

| Nice to see you're already opposing. Also when someone says 'May or may not be true' it's usually true. I'm sure you'll be very effective with your high turnout of MPs. |

You call us inexperienced even though you've never had a decent rank in a ro-nation.

| We are concerned for this Parliament, we are ready to debate at the HOC and of course work with the government to fulfill their promises to the people. We will remain strong and not give in. Yes, some of our MP's are rookies but I assure you that they were picked correctly and respectively to the qualities of a MP. |
