You have to trust that your high ranks will do the right thing even though most of the time with new groups, High ranks are quite bad.
You have to recruit A LOT! It's like grinding for levels in an RPG, you just keep doing it and doing it. You'll literally get to the point where you keep repeating "another one" all day.
And most of all you have to make sure the group is a beautiful and unique peace of work or else you have to be prepared to receive tons of flame.
How do clans that last long do it is my question?

a Clan doesn't necessarily need to have an experienced leader, just one who doesn't have a corrupt mindset.
Of course you need trust able high ranks, but that's part of the job as being a leader - that's why you don't just give out the highest possible rank you can get in your group to random people.
You also don't really need to "recruit"... Just, in a better term, "invite"... It gets them people in your group; just take a look at _Unification, less than two weeks and we nearly have 1k.
That's part of being a group, you either take in the flame from others, or let it become a fire and make yourself look like a fool.
Clans last long if they have the will power to last long. |
