depression and anxiety both run like the child of sonic and usain bolt in my dad's family and i just so happened to be blessed with both
as a result, i'll just kinda go through phases every few months to a year where i start hating myself, stop caring about my hygiene, and push my friends away
i take medication and stuff but i'm still prone to some ridiculous outbursts
so i'm sorry if i lash out on any of you or hurt your feelings or anything

just a few days ago i tackled my father down onto the floor and grabbed a tire iron from the ground (we were in the garage) so i kinda shoved it down his throat and then ran away for about 3 days and let things blow over
he's okay |

@fuzzy
i've been on 3 different medications
one was a benzo so i was literally always sleepy and basically void of emotion so i stopped taking it
my last one was zoloft which made me stop eating and made me feel numb and cold everywhere. it also gave me the occasional "i don't want to live anymore" type thoughts so i stopped taking it
the one i'm on rn isn't great but it doesn't have any horrible side effects |

i wish you the best of luck, depression is a horrible thing to deal with. last year was the most terrible year i've ever had, and this year hasn't really felt worse, but not different either.. hopefully i can change that sooner or later.
but anyways, i wish you the best.. even though it sometimes feels like this will never come true, at some point you will find peace and grow out of it. <3

Yea my shrink wanted me to take zoloft I refused and I haven't seen anyone for it since hasn't gotten better or worse so w/e I have a suggestion though, pick up a sport you can do on your own that you find fun I skateboard and I really enjoy it and it keeps me fit. there is a local skatepark I go to and I've met some cool people as well, really makes me feel better |

| I somewhat suffer these problems as well. Depression, social anxiety, anger issues, and so-on. But I never spend my time mentioning them to others. I usually just suck it up and continue on with my day. |

| Depression & self loathing can be linked to procrastinating very commonly in teens, I realized most of my shame arose from that. |

@eternal
honestly last year was the best year of my life because i had a totally amazing friend that i basically spent every waking moment with
but as of last month she doesn't want to be friends anymore because she found my depressiony phases too stressful (i don't blame her, she has a super busy life and i wish her nothing but the best)
that's definitely contributing to my awful attitude bc i've never felt so comfortable or happy around anyone or anything in my entire life
@fuzzy
i play a ton of instruments, go to the gym on weekdays, and walk for at least an hour daily
all those things help but not much
@genesis
social anxiety has never really been a problem for me bc a lot of people irl love me but i'll freak out over stupid things like trying to fit stuff in a dishwasher or something
super dumb things tend to upset me way more than they should |

| Yea I actually play drums as well but it doesn't really make me feel better, there's just something about going fast and living on the edge knowing that you could fall and brake a bone in just a second. It really makes you focus on what you're doing and forget everything else. |
