★Salary Caps★ Now, for S2 I am implementing something never before seen in Ro-Football, which is using "fake money" to pay players. The reason I am implementing this into the league is to break away from overpowered teams. For example, if at the end of the season, every elite F/A all go to the Seahawks, they'd be unstoppable. So since I'm putting a price on things, it'll limit how many elite players can be on 1 team, and will make HC's rethink signing a player. Every franchise will get a new amount of cap space every offseason, if the team did good last season, they get less space. If they did worse, they get more cap space. The least amount you can offer a player is 500K, pricing goes up by 50K. So you can't offer someone, let's say, 126K. It has to be 500K, 550K, 600K, etc. This is to make the numbers easier to calculate and less confusion. If a AC+ offers an amount to a player, and EB+ thinks it's a lowball offer, then we have the power to undo or reject the signing. And might I add that if a player is released, the team gets 50% of the amount they paid the player. We will keep track of how much each player is paid by making a public leaderboard on the NFL Website. This will range from the highest paid player in the league, to the lowest. Use this as a scale to see who the most and least skilled players in the league are. These leaderboards will also be used in the crowning of awards, and the forming of Pro Bowl Rosters in the postseason. The way we'll do this is we'll take the highest paid players in each conference, and place them on their respective conference Pro Bowl Rosters. Same with the awards, the highest paid players will will be nominated for awards. If a player was bad early in the season and got paid for a low amount, with the aid of EB+, the player can re-negotiate a higher contract if you get better later in the season. So basically if you're not paid alot, don't expect alot in return. |
