| All of these are very safe choices. Also I love radiohead but haven't delved into amnesiac yet (or kid a, i am more of a Ok Computer person). |

"he does and i'm kind of jealous of it"
i peg him as a low tenor or high baritone with a good upper extension

i sing contralto and he's got a much better upper range than i do. nothing like finding out a grown man can sing higher than you...
"how much were they?"
they were about $35 when they first went on sale, but i was moving right around that time, so we were kind of broke. i also didn't know my parents would pay for it (instead of me having to use my allowance money) and by the time i did, i think they were sold out.
i've got my fingers crossed that i might be able to see death cab for cutie sometime in the near future... not so sure about the antlers (because i don't think they usually play at venues that would be all ages). |

im a high baritone but my falsetto only touches a G5 on some days, surely you must be able to go higher and sound cleaner

my voice tends to top out at E5 or F5, though on a good day i can probably sing a little bit higher than that. the upper part of my range is overall kind of abysmal, though - i tend to stick to the middle or lower part of my range when i sing, so maybe i'm just out of practice or need some actual singing lessons.
"why, are you 16 or something??"
15, turning 16 in september. i would make the bold assumption that i'm probably a lot younger than most of their fanbase. (and i started listening to them when i was like 12 or something, so...) |
