so i have ignored my OCD for quite a while
but now it just burst out
i washed my hands 3 times in the space of 3 minutes i put all of the cashews in order, small to big i put all glasses in order, short to long i put all of the meds into one place washed all the dishes
what is happening please help i can't stop

It's happened to me before. A few months ago my mom took me to the doctor, and while she was paying the bill and stuff, I was standing there sorting the stickers in the sticker bin.

i didn't know perfectionism makes you double check your doors and wash your hands every so often i didn't want to use the term "OCD" because tautology

If you're able to ignore your OCD--it's not that bad.
But if you really do have it, situations like that are normal. Don't worry about it if you are at all; that'll only make it worse. If it becomes really bothersome, to try to ween yourself off of doing what you feel compulsive towards doing. If that ends up not working, try therapy.

| I agree. Having OCD, causes those actions to appear normally, and often. |

i'm able to ignore it for a few seconds, but then i basically HAVE to do it it's like an itch on your nose when you're getting a haircut

Yeah, as I said, that's normal. It's also quite normal to switch focuses, where what you generally feel like you HAVE to do changes to something else.
I've personally had it full-fledged my entire life.
