[CHECKING ACCESS...] [ACCESS GRANTED.] [OPENING LOG.] [BEGINNING LOG.] Hello there, please sit down. Now, I know what you're thinking. "The ISD is supposed to be a myth, how come I'm being accepted into it?" No, it's not a myth. The Intelligence Agency handles external intelligence, I'm sure you have the clearance to know that. The Internal Security Department handles internal intelligence. This guide will explain everything you need to know about ISD.
RULES:
1. Be mature at all times, unless off duty. (This means not on any SCP servers.)
2. Follow all group rules.
3. You are allowed access into every part of the site that your keycard gives you clearance to. If someone doesn't see that, just remind them in a friendly way. If they persist, call me.
4. Abusing power will always get you exiled due to the irresponsibility you posses.
5. Just because you are ISD does not mean you get to boss people around. If I catch anyone bossing others around because of their ISD duties, you are suspended/exiled.
6. Be respectful/nice. You aren't supposed to throw $#!t at people because you're in authority. Don't force people to respect you.
7. Judge the scenario appropriately. If you catch a staff member breaking the rules, don't hesitate to take action. But first, determine what happened. Interview the offenders/witnesses, analyze any evidence, do what ever it takes to come to a solid conclusion. (As long as it doesn't violate rules)
8. The Director+'s decision is absolute. Do not attempt to overthrow any decisions or enforce any new policies unless approved by the Director.
9. Be loyal to your group. Don't spy. We have intelligence sources you can't comprehend. Keep it in your thick skull.
10. You do not ask for an assignment. Your behavior is monitored and we will give you the assignment we judge best according to your behavior with the group.
[WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. BREAKING ANY RULES WILL RESULT IN A 7 DAY SUSPENSION OR EXILING DEPENDING ON SEVERITY.]
ASSIGNMENTS:
Staff Review: These people do daily reviews of staff, making sure they are completing their quotas and obeying rules. All staff members (yes, including O5) are counted up in a list of maturity, what rules they have broken, how many times, and if they prove insufficient or otherwise unable to perform their duty, their fate is up to the Administrator.
Administrative Bodyguards: These people guard the Directors of Intelligence related groups. (IA and ISD) These people ensure the safety of those others and also make sure that any information they speak is secure.
Information Handlers: These people handle sensitive information about the group and make sure that proper personnel get access. They also make sure that those in power are doing their jobs to keep sensitive information secure.
Corrupt Cleansers: These people monitor for corruption in any L-4+ to make sure that noone is corrupt. What do they call corrupt? Corruptivity is based on how you silence criticism, how you behave, etc. For the safety of these members their usernames are not specified and they are often given a secondary assignment to help their cover.
Research Gathering: These people gather up all the information and make sure that everything is organized, including reports, documents, etc. This is a minor assignment usually given to new ISD members due to the simplicity of it.
RANK GUIDE:
[SUSPENDED]: At this rank you are not an official ISD member. You are suspended from the group and not acknowledged as ISD. If you attempt to say you are ISD at this rank, you will be permanently exiled.
Agent: Regular ISD members. At this rank you are given your first assignment, typically Research Gathering for extensive analysis for actual assignment receiving, and hooray. You get to be in the ISD team and acknowledge yourself as an ISD member.
Operative: These people receive more important assignments and stricter rules and are expected to keep mature at ALL times while on duty. Operatives are usually respected and expected to keep their jobs in line and receive overall harsher punishments. (Longer suspension, exile.)
Supervisor: These people make sure all agents and operatives are doing their jobs and are usually leaders of assignments and are expected to report to the Co-Director+ 24/7 about new information gained from the Agents/Operatives.
Co-Director: The assistant of the director and the one who maintains basics of the group and will take over the Director's role if they are unavailable. All Co-Directors are to keep in mind that they may be removed from their position for any reason the Director seems fit.
Director: Leader of the group, they make the rules, assign people to the assignments, collect all the info, report to the Administrator on info, and keep this group in order and maintain Co-Directors, supervisors, etc.
The Administrator: [ACCESS DENIED. O5-X RANK REQUIRED.]
