Add these polynomials together, make them into standard form, and name them.
(2x^2 - 6x + 21) + (3x^2 + 7x - 42)

That's the symbol to make an exponent.
Example:
2^2 = 4 2^3 = 8 2^4 = 16
...and so forth.

HINT: The polynomials are already in standard form.
Naming them is based on how many terms are there and what the degree is.

Uhhhh, okay. Haven't done this in forever but I'll give it a shot.
(2x^2 - 6x + 21) + (3x^2 + 7x - 42) 5x^2 + x - (-21) 5x^2 + x + 21
You can't simplify that, soooo... |

"Algebra is essential for adult life and in many of the high-paying jobs and most common jobs" that's completely unrelated to what i asked and no, algebra is only useful if you're going into engineering which there are very few engineering jobs. seriously 70% of all jobs are just sitting in an office typing on a computer all day |

@EX
You do 21 - 42 and that's it because 42 is a negative. That's a common mistake in polynomial solving.
