I'm wondering whether I really need it. With only Safari and Finder running, along with the background programs running I'm using up 3.43 GB of RAM, but I can get 16 GB for less than $80.
2.4 ghz Intel Core i5 4 gb 1333 MHz DDR3
I don't think my graphics card is very good, but..

If Your gaming 8 gigs is considered more than enough.

| Ok, I am considering it. I don't really know if it will speed it up since I have 600 MB free, but would it still impact the speed at 16? |

I have 24GB RAM
8GB for computer stuff, 16GB for gaming. Great for maxing settings on newer games.

I'm pretty sure the max my laptop supports is 16. It's a 6 year old laptop but it handles most games at full settings around 30 fps. I'm hoping that if I upgrade the RAM I can run higher frame rates.
My Dad's computer either supports 32 or 64. It's a desktop so yeah... |

| It wont increase your framerate that much, but more RAM should make loading slightly quicker. You'll need a better CPU/GPU(Mostly) for higher FPS |
