If he hadn't won the last election, the USA would've stayed neutral for the whole war, because at the time the liberals weren't going to go into war.
If a liberal government had decided to enter the war, they wouldn't of demanded 50,000 planes be built in under a year when the most they had previously made was less than 5000.
If it wasn't for FDR, america would't of had close contact with Churchill at the time, and wouldn't have sent the reinforcements. |
