she bought tickets to a music festival for this summer for both of us (super expensive) as a bday gift which was really nice but my parents won't let me go because it's mostly 21+ who go since there's tons of drugs and alcohol. plus it would just be two 17 year old girls alone in a tent surrounded by drunk/high people so I get why my parents won't let me go. I told my friend that and now she's being really horrible about the whole thing. when I told her she was super passive aggressive (still is) and she can't/won't come to my bday party this weekend. we agreed that I should try to convince my parents to let me go but just now, only 2 days after we agreed on that, she texted me saying that she had sold my ticket and was going with some other friends. that means she probably started trying to sell my ticket 2 days ago even though I was trying to change my parent's mind.

well we've been best friends since 5th grade and despite going through a ton we've never even drifted apart. she's always been kind of immature and impulsive but I thought she was starting to grow out of that but I guess not

you should actually be more happy about that, that sounds like a dangerous place. Besides, there's always other things to enjoy.

@wolv I'm not upset about not being able to go, I'm upset at my friend acting like a really crappy friend
