Hello,
Just wondering if anyone here knows if there's a way to render a parts material as seen in ROBLOX? When I export my model as an obj. file and import it into blender, parts come out to look like smooth plastic but in studio they have a metal texture. Anyone know how to add the texture?

I think you'll have to do it manually.

I'm not to sure, you could possibly search ROBLOX files on your computer, there may possibly be texture files. Please don't get mad at me, I'm not much of a blender person.

Unless you can manage to make a .mtl from the materials, its not possible. blender uses .mtl for the coloring/texturing.

i don't know about material but it seems pretty easy to make your own roblox rig considering the size dimensions of the actual roblox player
