im pretty sure this is just an inside joke that you dont have the proper context available for. when people talk about being triggered theyre usually referring to some form of trauma that a certain thing reminds them of. for the most part its actually a pretty serious issue when you think about it but most people dont really take it seriously because people can be a bit too ridiculous about it. |

that was just an example, i couldn't think of anything
but everyone has traumatic experiences maybe it's just me but i don't get all emotional when i think of people that passed or something

yeah i know what you mean but everybody's got a different brain, thats probably the most important thing to consider. you might think "toughen up and get over it" but its a lot easier to just forget about it and be a decent person and remember that you are talking with real people on the internet. especially when theres no context available to you about why something will trigger a person in the first place.
thats just how i see things though, most of ot would call me sjw/pc/feminist idiot for thinking this way but honestly i just try and respect people, online and offline. |
