| Probably won't work though because OpenGL 1.1 is most likely unsupported on ROBLOX's engine now |

WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY.
Actually, we don't. My build of Windows 2000 doesn't support OpenGL 4. |

"upgrade its cpu gpu ram and hard drive" The CPU is close to being maxed-out. I'm using a Dell Dimension L600R right now, and I'm pretty sure it can support up to the 1GHz variant of Pentium IIIs within the Coppermine family, but I'm not completely sure. The CPU it's using right now is a Pentium III 600EB with a clockspeed of 600MHz (hence the name), and given the computer's model name, the motherboard might just be restricted to that very CPU. But the RAM is completely maxed-out at 512MB of PC133 SDRAM, the most it'll take. I can't upgrade the GPU to much, because there's no AGP slot (pretty much the PCI-e slot of the late '90s and early 2000s), just four PCI slots, and we all know how slow PCI graphics cards are. Not to mention that they're pricy and harder to find as opposed to the much speedier AGP interface. I could completely max-out the HDD to a 60GB Western Digital PATA drive, but that's unnecessary for something running Windows 98SE.
"Also, Vine. How much C++ do you know?" I started learning it a while ago. I want to go back into programming again. But, to answer your question, I know very little. I'm more of a hardware guy than a software guy. |

I COULD run Windows XP on it, but I'm assuming that 98SE will be okay. I have lots of XP codes, but it just doesn't fit the age of a Pentium III white-box PC. Or, I could always do Windows ME, because I have a product key for it lying around here somewhere. I tend to find Windows ME better than 98SE, but since I'm making a video of this computer, I truly don't want people in the comments going "OMG THAT'S SUCH A TERRIBLE WINDOWS!!! THIS TEST IS RIGGED BECAUSE HE USED THE WORST WIDNOWS EVER!!!".
People just don't understand that ME isn't that bad. I find it more stable than 98SE most of the time. |

| I just found the 3Com Ethernet card and the proprietary Dell PSU. Things are working out pretty well right now. |

"and that's from 2005" It most likely had a much newer form of OpenGL then. Mine is 5 years before yours. |
