So instead of crashing the ROBLOX player when someone attempts to exploit. It should send a signal to ROBLOX with the username and freeze the account. And if the player does it 3 times then they get there account TERMINATED. So for example,
User: JimmyJonJoe is going to exploit. He gets busted once.
Action: Account frozen for 24 hours. Can not play games, can not send IM's, buy things, or receive any funds from any sales, place visits or group payouts. The only thing they can do is login to a page that has a red stop sign that says "Account Frozen". And then a timer below that counting down till the account is unfrzoen.
User: JimmyJonJoe is going to exploit. He gets busted a second time.
Action: Same as above but for 48 hours.
User: JimmyJonJoe is going to exploit. He gets busted a third time.
Action: His account gets TERMINATED.
Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed below.

No, I mean like this. When you try to use a exploit that ROBLOX has already patched. Instead of crashing the ROBLOX player it should send a signal to the website. It has nothing to do about how you play the game.

You can not accidentally exploit 3 time's. ROBLOX can tell when a user tries to exploit with a patched exploit. It injects code into ROBLOX and manipulates the data to the exploiters say. So when they patch a exploit, they add a if command that will run if the exploiter tries to inject code and manipulate that function. And it would need some testing and debugging to get it to work. But think about the end game. It would reduce the amount of exploiters in game. You might be thinking how so? It only freezes there account if they use a patched exploit. You would actually be surprised how many times people try to use a patched exploit. I am always thinking of new ways to improve ROBLOX's software to help stop exploiters. If you have a question about this, that you would not like to ask in the forum go ahead and IM it to me. My message's are open to all users.

A concern I have is that it could lead to false freezing. What if an exploiter makes it appear to Roblox that someone else is exploiting, even though they're not?

Like I said before is that it does not matter how you play the game. So if you speeded or godded or flying or any of that stuff it still doesn't matter. It only matters when you try to inject code into ROBLOX memory. And you can not make it seem like one client is injecting code into ROBLOX when they are not. To do this you would need to hack into another players computer, not there ROBLOX player. There computer, and no body would use this much time and energy just to exploit ROBLOX.

i meant what if it was an actual crash and not them exploiting
how would roblox know if it was an exploit or not that caused it to crash
if you think that roblox only crashes when you exploit then youre wrong
there used to be a sound that crashed roblox if you heard it play
EISS has a script that can crash you
and by crashing i dont mean lagging i mean a window pops up that says an error has occurred

It would not freeze your account when ROBLOX crash's. ROBLOX crash's itself when a user tries to exploit with a patched exploit. So you could not get frozen for simply crashing your player. It would replace crashing itself when someone tries to exploit with a patched exploit.

To all the "false exploits" and "Bans for no reason" and crap... Don't we have an appeals system? Or did that get removed when I blinked?
Personally, I like the idea of semi-automatic punishments. It shouldn't be completely automated, rather than simply crash the client or immediately freeze the account, it should go to an automated report log of some sort that the mods can then review, and depending on how the review goes, punishment can be delivered.
Semi-support. |

@Jacob
Finally someone who gets my system. And I think your idea about it being logged and mod's reviewing it is a good idea. :-)

| ^ It would cut down on the false banning, on the off chance it did occur. |

| A termination is way to hard just for trying to hack 3 times. How about your account gets locked for a week. But if you hack after the week you get banned for a while. |

| Sporeeo, hacking a single time will result in termination if a player or players reports you, this is actually quite lenient? |

That moment when I REALLY wish I could post offsite links without getting modded, lol. Found a .gov site on the topic. |

Actually, when the game kicks you for "exploiting", sometimes it's a glitch.
For example:
On Make A Cake: Back for Seconds, there was a glitch (now patched) where if you edited a cake with 2 different machines, it would kick you for exploiting. If you tried to enlarge a cake then make it your pet, it would kick you.
[If Windows made a resturaunt, would it serve Mac and cheese?] |

People people people, how many times do I have to say this. Just because your player crashes does not mean it crashed because it thought you were exploiting. This is just above some of your heads.
