2 12th graders started bullying an autistic person eating lunch alone and I started to tear up. I went up to them and respectfully confronted them saying that he has autism and what autism is. I anonymously reported it to the principal and all teachers. I just want to say to people out there; be nice to kids with disabilities. They get bullied way too often and you may be their only light in their lives. Sometimes they're mistreated by doctors or caregiver, recently a friend of mine died due to his caregiver not giving a medication that he needed daily, it was for fluid around his heart that stopped the rhythm. Most of us are fortunate to be perfectly healthy people but some are less fortunate. That kid will grow up and probably never experience live to the fullest like most of us do. Be grateful of the life you have been giving, and be the light in the lives of the less fortunate. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Be kind an be respectful, that's all I have to say. Have a good day!
