was pulling into a parking spot at school and thought I could just barely make it but I didn't and hit the truck next to the spot
Someone parked next to it saw me do it and I guess they knew the person who owned the truck, so they went to go tell them. Next thing I know, the truck owner and a few of his friends are looking around at the spot where I hit the truck.
they either didn't see the dent ( it was pretty small ) or they didn't care
I thought I was screwed for a minute there. Now I park like super carefully |

@The
Normal
It was the same model as mine ( Ford Ranger ) but a newer model. Luckily it wasn't some 2015 F-150 or something |

ah. My mother owns a big truck. I can't remember what model it is, I haven't seen her since July last year. She loves it and calls it her Beast.
She wants to upgrade to a Tundra though. My late grandfather used to own and drive Semi-trucks for a living.
Trucks just run in the family.

| My foot slipped off the brake one time and my car smacked into the trailer hitch of the car in front of me. That car was fine actually, since I didn't actually touch it. My car had a nice dimple in the front from that day on. |

Ah, could have been worse
Luckily my bumper is metal so it left no damage to my truck |

The minute I saw truck, I assumed "redneck".
I should feel bad, but I recently had to go to an event in Alabama and there were lots of trucks plastered with confederate flags and blaring country music. I even saw a Jeep that was painted to look like the General Lee. /sigh
On the positive side, at least you didn't have to file it on your insurance and you didn't have someone that wanted to beat you up. |

@GAO
Ew country music. But yeah, I'm far from redneck. I just like trucks because they're so useful and usually sit higher up than cars, and I like being higher up.
Luckily I also knew the guy who's truck I dented, he's pretty chill. He didn't even say anything when we had class together later that day. |

Oh I know, I'm just being bitter/spiteful because of how many times I had to encounter a redneck truck that drove aggressively because they were overcompensating haha.
Ford Rangers are a good truck, even if Ford discontinued them. (I'm biased towards Ford.) |

@Gao
Yeah they're hardy little trucks, I have no complaints about the Ranger. I'd prefer something a bit larger ( but not too big ) for later though
Also I can relate, often times I see rednecks with jacked up trucks and loud exhaust tips. These also happen to be the people who cut others off in traffic |
