New York's Executive Office of the Governor State St. and Washington Ave. Albany, NY 12224
EXECUTIVE ADDRESS E.A. #006
GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION
18 January, 2016 My final address from the Governor of New York ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Good evening my fellow New Yorkers,
I, Governor Dylan Verrano, hereby resign effective immediately and withdraw my bid for re-election as the seventh Governor of New York. Throughout my tenure, I have hand the utmost pride and privilege to serve as New York's 7th governor. However it seems as my term concludes I wish to shed light of the many accomplishments of this administration and many of the hard working citizens.
For starters, this administration didn't allow the State Assembly's inactivity to prohibit this administration from making progress. Secondly, we have eliminated government waste departments and created new one's geared towards empowering small businesses and connecting them to viable resources. Thirdly, we authored the most executive orders than any predecessor to share this office. Lastly, despite poor cabinet choices, we have not allowed them to deteriorate.
It's been an honor to serve, meet voters, have fun, and promote the prosperity, but it is my time to depart. I wish the next Governor the best of luck and will never forget this one of a kind experience.
I thank you all for the opportunity that's been given to me to serve, and I look forward to work that'll be done by the next Governor of the State of New York. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Dylan Verrano
