Hey there! I'm developing a game and I've run into a problem - I can't script weapons. I'm looking for someone who can write a single script for multiple weapons. It should include:
-variables like "shotgun", "automatic", "semi", and "sniper" (something along those lines) that can easily be assigned values of "true" and "false" depending on the weapon type
-variables like "damage" that can be edited (obviously)
-there should be two number values within the script (values are children of the script) that is named "clip" and "ammo" (clip is for how much ammo is currently in the magazine, and ammo is for how much ammo the character has stored on them)
-there should be a GUI that appears when the weapon is active showing ammunition (---/---) and under the ammunition, it should show the fire mode (shotgun = pump action, automatic = automatic, semi and sniper = semi-automatic)
-crosshairs GUI and hitmarker GUI
The idea is that the gun tool will have 4 components: the body parts, a part labeled "Handle", a part labeled "Main", a part labeled "Mag", and a part labeled "Aim. Handle is obviously where the player will "grip" the tool. Main will be where the bullets are shot from. Mag is where the player will "reach" when reloading. Aim is where the camera will align with the gun so the player can aim down the sights of the gun.
Controls:
- R: Reload - C: Crouch - Right Mouse (hold): Aim Down Sights - Left Shift (hold): Run (WalkSpeed goes from 16 to 32) - Left Mouse (click/hold): Fire weapon
