Rule 1. Trainees will use three words unless the trainer decides they may use other words. "Yes, no, Sir". If they have a question they'll say "Sir?".
Rule 2. Training must be scheduled 1 hour before it begins. It is recommended to be 2 hours before, and preferably should even be the day before to give everyone a heads up on it.
Rule 3. Trainings must be supervised by a rank above the Military Police.
Rule 4. Don't schedule over someone's training.
Rule 5. Basic training for Navy/Marine Corps must take 1:30 hours. For the Air Force will be 2 hours to 2:30 hours. Don't go over this time limit by doing obbies, stick to a schedule.
Rule 6. Three areas to train and test on for the Navy/Marine Corps, four for the Air Force. Discipline, Communication, Team Work, and for the Air Force: Flight.
Discipline is on going throughout the entire training. If they cannot sit still, follow orders, or be mature, then they fail discipline. Communication consists of both verbals and non-verbals. If they're unable to breach with a squadron then they fail communication and team work. Team work will be either the skirmish at the end or just breaching. Being able to coordinate with team members is essential to the REM. Flight test is explained here: Only Military Police of the RAF may administer the flight test.
Rule 7. Three strike rule for disrespect/disruption/attitude_problem punishment: First is a warning, second is a kick, third is a ban. Helpers are to take the offender away from the main training and explain the problem. The trainer needs only to say the name of the offender to indicate to the helpers to whisk them away. The leader of the training should not interrupt their entire training just for one person. Let the helpers deal with 'em. Punishment for mistakes made in training should be more forgivable during the training portion, but not during testing.
Rule 8. Don't let the little things slide. This is basic training, they should be expected to monitor themselves and make a conscious effort to not make mistakes.
At the end of every basic, the regulars get to choose a callsign for the new guys. |
