I have scripts that require more RAM than Roblox Studio can handle. I believe this is due to Roblox Studio being 32-bit, which limits RAM usage to 2.9GB. I have 8GB of RAM available, and I wish to use it all without my scripts reporting a bad allocation in the output.

Or just have the installation autodetect if you have 32 or 64 bit, so it would install the optimal version, and revert to 32-bit if 64-bit doesn't work on that particular pc.

That's only possible for so long.

Plus, there's the problem of 32 bit applications other than ROBLOX running in the background preventing local scripts from firing as intended.

Eg, when system RAM is limited to just under 4 GB (with LAA), this 4GB is used for ALL PROGRAMS ON THE OPERATING SYSTEM.

This means you run TeamSpeak and that takes up some, then you run a couple 32-bit based software in the background, that takes up some as well.

Hell you're also running a virtual machine that's 32 bit - that takes up some as well.

Add all this up and the ROBLOX Client has no resources to use.






Plus, games hit a hard limit of integer values over 2147somethingsomethingsomething.

Games where in-game currency is inflated beyond comprehension now break when you go over 2 million something.


We also have limits on how much we can store into the system - let's say we try to capture the image of the game.

We use this image to re-render with .25 transparency and with a soft glow effect.

Do this with a large color pallete, ROBLOX cannot handle it.


etc. etc.


We also have limitations on how many parts we can store into system RAM - go over 2 million parts and the game can't handle it.

Or even 200,000 and problems start happening.







Also, we then get problems with just doing too much crap and storing too many variables.

games can't run like this.
