IMPORTANT NOTE: This will be my first NRP, ever. I will not be surprised if this doesn’t take off as I imagine it will, but I did enjoy writing this. So if I get mainly positive feedback, I will start posting these weekly on Fridays. This’ll hopefully allow both a fun NRP guaranteed weekly, and I’ll gradually become better at creating and running them.

In the year 2150, Earth was running out of its precious resources at a dangerous rate. Fortunately, the mass consumption of the planet’s resources had not gone un-noticed, and a solution was made. Earth would be abandoned, and left to become what it once was before civilized life began. An organization called ‘The Grand Republic of Earth’ was founded and began constructing large ships, able to hold thousands of people and supplies. These ships would travel the galaxy at light speed, each heading to a designated planet, which is potentially habitable. Some ships would arrive to their destinations in months, years, decades, and some, wouldn’t even make it at all.

Your ship has finally reached its designated planet after twenty three years after leaving the surface of the Earth. Now, as the leader, it is up to you to bring your colony to greatness. It’ll be up to you whether or not you seek trade and alliances with other colonies, or wage intergalactic war with them, and take all they have. Keep in mind, however, there are now many more dangers than just other colonies, you are in an entirely new place, and it’ll be up to you, if you survive.

Starting out, the ship you arrived in can be used as shelter, and has enough food and water to last you 20 turns. You are given enough supplies to build a starting foundation of your colony. You are also given drills, weapons, construction vehicles, and one small, unarmed space craft that’ll be able to travel to other colonies quickly. {This and more will be repeated before the RP begins}

Some things you may want to know about;

The Grand Republic of Earth: They too, have left the surface of the Earth, but instead of finding another planet, they orbit Earth, protecting it. They have several large space stations surrounding the planet, and will attack on sight if they believe you are trying to land on the planet’s surface. We’d advise not toying with them for a while.

The Zorachs: We do not know where these reptilian looking creatures come from, or what they want. However, we know they are hostile and have already devastated several colonies and obliterated dozens of colonist ships before they arrived to their designated planet. At any time, these creatures could find, and attack your colony.

Rules:
1: Only I will accept Nation Sheets, unless an admin is assigned.
2: You cannot have an OP colony right off the bat, you must build up to it.
3: No god-modding or power playing. If caught, you will be given either a warning or exiled from the RP.
4. In laws, list one as ‘Taking in a Zorach is punishable by death.’
5: Everything takes time. Example, Sends hunting party five miles from colony. [Will return in 6 turns]
6: We’ll go in order. Who goes when will be decided on the first posts of each participant.
7: I’ll give people 8 hours IRL to post, after that, I will post telling the next person to go. This is meant to keep the RP going. People who are skipped will lose their turn until their next turn, but if they are doing something, like building or researching, the turn will count towards it.
8: Be patient, some people can’t sit at their computer all day. People will be skipped, I guarantee it.
9: After 10 consecutive skips, the Zorach’s will come and destroy your colony, unless you PM me a reason why you aren’t able to post, in that case, we’ll remove you from the order, but whatever you are building or researching will continue. I will even watch over whatever you may be reaching or building for you until it is finished. You will be able to jump back in as soon as notifying the group of your return, and waiting until your next turn.
10: I will not accept Colony sheets that are rushed, and not thought out. I will simply say denied and will not go on, just simply leave, or try to make it better and find your mistakes.
11: If it’s not in the rules, do not use that as an excuse. Rules also may be applied as we go.
12: The Zorachs and The Republic of Earth will be controlled by me. I will also control disasters, i.e. meteor shower.
13: We start when I give the go ahead.
14: The RP will be shut down after 15 days of no one posting.

Colony Sheet:
Name of Planet: Comenvads
Name of Colony: Kremlius
Colony’s Population: 2,575 residents.
Colony’s Military: 75 soldiers( Full time, at the moment), majority of adult residents are to be trained as partial militia.

Goals: Initial viewed as a good source of material wealth, Trosvin's coup changed it. Now, the entire goal is simplified to three goals, in ranking of priority.
1) Survive by creating a sustaining community
2) Explore the remainder of the Comenvads
3) Establish ways to start building up space arsenal( And weapon arsenals in general)

Laws:
Besides the typical rule of no zorachs, the rules of the colony are simple but brutal. 1)Murder, assault, and arson/sabotage, along with other grevious crimes of such nature are subject to execution or permanent exile.
2) Theft, r@pe, and desertion( From any position of power) will be administered by public punishment as seen fit.
3) Obstruction of government, public disorder and indecency offenders are subject to penal labor requirements for repeat offenders.

Describe the planet: A large series of extremely mountainous chains of islands in a vast eternal ocean. Climate is a very wet but temperate climate, due to the said ocean. Resources involve a lot of tin, copper, and iron, plus whatever potential treasures lie underneath the ocean.

Colony’s Leader:
Name: Trosvin Ivanin
Age: 38
Appearance: Thick, burly and possibly as harry as a bear, Trosvin is almost too Russian... Pistol at his side always, a uniform that might do any dictator, and a grim look almost permanently sculpted into his face, Trosvin upholds the illustration as a true strongman. That is just how he wants to be shown.

Bio: Trosvin Ivanin's entire family has been a mix of failed mystics who mostly died in the cold of Siberia and disgruntled soldiers who never risen to true power in the military of whatever Russian government at the time. But Trosvin proved a exception for actually being able to lead soldiers. That is, he caused it by making it known he will shoot any coward in the back and let them crawl to the medic tent. That is, until the evacuation.

Trosvin, being head of the security for one colony ship, seized control from the slightly incompetent ship captain weeks before arriving at their planet. Instituting the new rules, Trosvin crushed all vocal opposition to his coup. But it all turned out he is competent on the matters of administration, if not a bit severe on punishments.

Family:
Leon Ivanin, 41, brother. Insane mystic, Leon is currently locked away in the colony.
Catherine Ivanin, 39, wife. Shy, modest and tender... Helps keep Trosvin stable.
Peter Ivanin, 19, son. Loves plants, life. Constantly draws both Trosvin's disapproval and surprise respect.

Strongpoints:
[Commissioner] "People don't often abandon a cause when they feel a firearm's barrel against the back of their skull. Works better when it's loaded." *Crime, desertion and routs are less likely due this leader's harsh punishments.*
[Quartermaster] "I knew some people... A little extra wasn't too much of a effort for them." *+1 turn of starting supplies, extra mining equipment.*

I will not have a beginning colony. I will be controlling the actions of The Grand Republic of Earth, and the Zorachs at the end of each turn. Natural disasters will occur when I see fit.

Why not have a strongman in at least one colony?...

And also, the seafood should provide a help aid to the supplies until terrace farming can happen. That, and mountains are good defensive points which can be excavated not just for minerals but also to form the foundations for future improvements.

Colony’s Military: 100 in-service, 500 on-call militiamen, known for expert marksman
Goals: A spartan test colony set up by the Galactic Canadian Empire, the goal is to examine how a heavily militaristic colony could survive in lawless space.
Laws: Constant state of martial law, dictatorship based on military rank
Describe the planet: Many snow covered mountain ranges, large pine tree forests, very frequent volcanic eruptions over the millenia has lead to extremely rich soil for agricultural prospects, keeping the many forests alive and thriving, despite the threat of ash storm, sunlight deprivation, and brutal winters, winter also lasts two times longer than usual on other exo-planets. Hostile "super-bears" inhabit the planet, planet lacks strong agriculture and relies on hyperspace lanes to trade ores

Bio: A bounty hunter in a past life, Abraham adopted multiple identities over the
years and never gave out his true identity. A citizen of the Galactic Canadian Empire, he was hired by a government official to join Project Warborn. He was then tasked to run the test colony. He is known to speak his mind and to wield duel vibroswords and duel slugthrower pistols in combat. His recent identity, HANNIBAL, was known as an excellent tactician

2: [Experienced Galactic Traveler]. As of this moment, no one is an experienced galactic traveler, everyone went straight to their designated planet, no stops along the way.

3: C.S sounds too Star Wars, with your character matching Boba Fetts description pretty well.

Colony Sheet:-

Name of Planet: Zatone (Olive in Arabic cuz I can)
Name of Colony: Dora (Corn in Arabic cuz I can)
Colony’s Population: 3,000
Colony’s Military: 300
Goals: Make a stable colony, that believes in Justice, and equility.
Laws: (Human ones)

Describe the planet: (We gonna found out while the RP is progressing.) When the ship landed, they found them self between 2 huge mountains. At the South there was a lake blocking the way. The only way out was North until they have ships.

They found some wheat-like plant near the mountain at the south, and found a small cave at the east mountain. They didn't explore it yet.


Colony’s Leader:-

Name: Shai Blabn (Milk with tea in Arabic cuz I can.)

Age: 34

Appearance: Shai is a light skinned guy, with blonde hair, and green eyes. He has a normal build, he never went to the gym. He have a tattoo on his left hand saying "Hope". (Not gonna get detailed, didn't RP from 3 months.)

Bio: Shai was born from a rich high-class family from America. He had a good child-hood, he was social guy. When he finished his high-school, he became an شrchitect, he always supported peace moves. His father used his influence to get his family in the plane. (You will know more about him from the "Emotional" sht in RP)

Family: Blabn (His Father), Sokar (His mom), Koppia (His sister, 18 years old.)

Strongpoints: Charisma, tactics, and he is an architect.

(The colony Kremlius is heavy on ethnicity from the Caucasus mountains, Russian and central Asia. Religion is heavily Orthodox Christian/Agnostic at the start.)

Culture Affinities- Former Soviets:
+Greater allowance of soldiers to civilans ratio.
+Revolution, Mass disorder and rebellions less common
-Increase in corruption

(And also... A bit of a question about the level of weaponry, paintball. Most specifically, firearms... Do we still have the rounds, shells and slugs type of weaponry from current day, or is it advanced to laser/other more futuristic weaponry?)

@TNT, slightly more advanced weaponry. Firearms will still use bullets in the beginning, unless you research the technology later on for weapons to possess the capability to use more advanced rounds, such as lasers and plasma. However, ships can be outfitted with laser weaponry without having to research, they just need to be created, along with a ship to hold said weapons.

Alright, I'm done waiting. We've got three people so we'll get started. I'll probably make mine tonight or tomorrow morning. For now though, I will post the order that we'll go in.
