| I think people overreacted with the Cecil thing, but he didn't HAVE TO kill that lion. No one life is more important than another. To kill for the sake of killing has nothing to do with what we used to have to do. |

@inexperienced but thats wrong animal lives are much less important than a human's, since animals are nonsentient.

They are upset simply because "Cecil" provided entertainment for them. This ceased once the lion was hunted.
Intellectually-inferior animals are nothing more than biological-slaves to the hedonistic desires of human individuals. |

| Sentience makes us more important? That's wrong. We're not important, neither are the other species. We'll all die in the end. We're all equally unimportant. |

@inexperienced Humans are more important. We have thumbs, computers, cars, space shuttles, plumbing, law and order, and weapons. Animals have none of that. |

We are animals, to be specific we are apes.
Get over yourselves. |

@ICant Please source. It seems unreasonable that a humanlike race, monkeys is what I am referring to, are sentient, even though they rip their own kind apart over bananas and trees.
@Debateyou Lmao no kidding. |

Humans rip each other apart of due trees and bananas (food and shelter) I suppose you lack a full understanding of just how terrible humans are

@Inexperienced Once again, wrong. You really thing that's the reason we're civil? Explain to me why mammal infants like bear cubs and puppies can play with one another, then turn and eat a human or another race of one's species.
You're so full of sht its actually not funny. |

@Debate Our survival instinct is constantly conflicting with our conscience. Only total barbarians would do that to someone else. |

| Your argument is nonsensical, they think of as food the same as we think of chickens, pigs, and cows, as food. |

Anyone who wasn't raised in our culture and without our society would do that, we aren't innately moral beings, our morality is due to our culture and society among other things. |

@Debate Actually it isn't. Animal's don't think at all. When a stampeding bull see's a man, it takes no time before rushing the man down. It doesn't think of any possibilities other than "kill man." |

You just contradicted yourself. " Animal's don't think at all." "It doesn't think of any possibilities other than "kill man."
Like it or not animals don't only think but they can feel emotions, such as empathy, this has been shown in a multitude of scientific studies done. |

@Debate You have that backwards. Only people raised in primitive tribes like Native America would have no morality. They were taught to scalp and burn other people. |

You can be taught to be moral and to not be moral, if you're left alone you'll simply rely on instinct. |

Because wild animals are part of the ecosystem and killing them actually has reprocussions on our own health.
e.g in India farmers killed 90% of the vultures, this meant that there where no animals suitible to kill the huge amounts of game animal that die everyyear. so wild dogs ate the rotting meat instead, their immune system couldn't handle it and they got rabies.
Now people in India get infected with rabies from the wild dogs.
