Hello. Can anyone tell me how many parts creates lag??

I already have 5000-6000 Blocks. It doesn't lag but I just want to be cautious

If you mean how many parts your computer can handle before it becomes noticeable, it entirely depends on the computer's specs.

Oh. Okay... Well. I don't want to make a super laggy game for like people that don't have a good computer.

Anything added reduces fps or increases lag by a decimal at least.
The main things that cause lag are 'effects' such as fire, smoke, sparkles, and sometimes even particle emitters.
'Material' on parts also causes lower fps, unless it were all SmoothPlastic which is practically the definition of no material. And don't forget about graphics quality.
Using free models cause lag because you can typically expect stray and useless things like welds or fire spread scripts, and viruses because people like to troll the people that don't know how to build or script and rely on others' skill or talents and work.

But like the dude said, it depends on the RAM of your computer, CPU (how many software or background programs are being used at the moment) and a few other things like the graphics card. I usually play Roblox or any other game really with it minimized, it boosts FPS by a lot for me. You really shouldn't worry about building super detailed unless you're making tools or armor or vehicles, because that will lag the player like crazy and kill their FPS.

It depends.

With a medium-tier computer, I have found that the roblox player can handle around 600k default parts (obviously created locally, or the server would be under far too much pressure) before it runs out of memory. It starts getting quite appalling in frames per second at around the 400k mark.

With top-end you can normally handle around 1.1m parts handled locally, and you can pretty much maintain 59fps almost the whole way through (i7 3.50ghz and NVidea 870m). However, once again, bare in mind that these parts are all just the small, default parts, and are created locally so there is no strain on the server.

Parts on the server? You'd probably need to bump down your graphics level at around 45k parts (for an average computer), but I haven't tested this.

I've got an Nvidia GTX 960m 4gb, 16gb Ram running on i7, I've run a few hundred thousand using this script we developed. It runs until 1 million and displays how long it took to get to it at the end. You can change that number to something lower, but it takes only about 10 seconds or so to load in 60k for me.

Probably won't notice any effect until around 12k. Lag depends on a load of things like distance between parts etc.

Not really any definitive answer.
