ever since I built my PC i realized that console peasants are peasants since that's what they like. In their lives, they aren't going to be successful or anything, and they eat whatever king sony or microsoft throws to their faces.
Sure, you can apply the same argument with Apple...
But doesn't Apple value your privacy more than Google? At least they mentioned that government surveillance isn't cool...
Don't forget the CRAP ANDROID OEM's.
Samsung has bloat. LG overhauls the entire look and updates are harder to come by (usually takes at least 1-2 years for a regular update and about 5 months for a hotfix) Alcatel won't update their products since they give us the low-end products ASUS has BAD BLOAT. Lenovo shouldn't even be making phones. And the Nexus line is great but it gets overshadowed by it's next phone faster than the next iPhone.
They both have their pros and cons.
Apple: Expensive. Overpriced. Beautiful. Focuses on what the average idiot wants (reason why they're successful) Optimization (in a lot of apps) Long Battery Life Case Manufacturers that make some nice cases. Apple Watch Can't mod Can't change a lot about the phone Void warranty if you jailbreak or use the software for weapons of mass destruction phone is perfect for apps and stuff you might actually use in your life (Snapchizzle is an example) iPads will beat a lot of Android tablets due to horrible Android tablet support. Android: Not enough GOOD case manufacturers (they usually go to Samsung's latest product.) Customizable Loads of OEMs to choose from. It can be low or high end. App devs are lazy (snapchizzle) Longerer Battery Life Dolphin HDMI support 4K support DOSBox Emulation Better graphics 10-core CPU's 4GB of dedotated WAM Intel Atom chips cheaper a crap ton of charging methods (Micro-USB, USB Type-C, DC, AC)
In a nutshell.
Apple: Meant for people who just want a phone that does everyday things, the occasional new 3D racing game or something you'll play once but go back to snapping photos and such. It's perfect for photos, social media, texting, and actually being with friends since it's more social. If you're not deep into it's ecosystem, you might be best staying at Google or Microsoft territory until you're ready for that type of commitment.
Android: hacks hacks hacks hacks hacks. It does everything. It is everything. It's in your iPhone. Android is universal. But don't take my word for it. Take the ENTIRE world's word for it. Phones are cheap, or expensive. Powerful or weak. Tiny or large. You have more than 2 choices in terms of size, and well... 4 colors... you're kind of stuck with 3???

| Eh, iPhone plays my music and browses my interwebs and that's all I really care about. I started with iPhone and I have no reason to switch. |

I might go apple since I have no use for 6 cores or 10 cores with 6GB of RAM.
Honestly, the beefy specs can be saved for a PC. But other than that, iPhone it is.
