At this point, it's almost like "why bother", they've been there so long. But the recent modifications to the group store function that have nullified the purpose of the NBC Shirt Creators group has brought this issue yet again to light. The reason that NBCSC became so popular was because it gave people the opportunity to get the clothes they want, without having to wait 2 weeks in order to buy a full set(shirt+pants).
I understand the primary reasons for price floors, those being so that more people are induced into purchasing a builders club subscription in order to purchase their clothes of choice, and to supposedly improve designer revenue.
But here's the issues brought up by price floors being so high: -Designers are no longer able to make as much money. While they make more money per sale, the amount of money they now procure is unable to compete with the money they earned while price floors were low enough to allow a large, continuous flow of sales. -The price floors have resulted in people trading more money to either net more ROBUX, or net more Tickets. This has massively inflated the ratio of 1TIX to 1RBX. Prior to the introduction of price floors, the ration of RBX:TIX was around 1:11. After the introduction of price floors, the ratio has unstably fluctuated from 1:15 to 1:25 and above. -Templates are being stolen more often now, and being used either as "new" designs, or as a loophole to avoid paying the outrageously high price floors for the originals.
This petition moves that the following changes occur:
1. On the basis that ROBLOX's purpose is to be educational about such matters as the economy and modern trading/sales regulations, the price floors should be lowered to the levels originally installed on ROBLOX, or should be obliterated entirely. By removing or lowering price floors, a realistic and open-market economy will be created, allowing designers to
2. The sales tax on ROBLOX user-sales should be lowered to at least 10%. In the United States, the highest sales tax is 9.45%, in Tennessee. 30% is outrageous by any means, and continuing unrealistic sales taxes is lowering what
3. Further changes to the economic system should take into account not only the genuine, realistic educational possibilities, but how the ROBLOX economy currently works. By giving more freedom to ROBLOX players to develop the economy as they see fit, ROBLOX stands to educate its players in the most realistic way possible:mimicking how the actual economy in the majority of developed countries work, by creating a free, supply/demand driven free market.
Unless the purpose of ROBLOX has changed from "Educate kids on topics such as the economy, computer science, etc." to "make as much money as possible without any regard to how the game is turning out", then these are all valid and reasonable requests. There are other ways to procure money than to essentially manipulate kids and teens into buying BC through unfair and unrealistic game economic practices.

Point 1 I accidentally cut off.

By removing or lowering price floors, a realistic and open-market economy will be created, allowing designers to make reasonable revenue, expand, and fully immerse themselves in a more realistic economy.

SilentSwish8 Its not that bloody easy to make a place people will come
And maybe some people aren't good at that
The Price floor its useful only for greedy players or players that have 10k robux and 100k tickets
I actually hate this price floor
I can't get 2 hats and 2 clothes
Because the price floor destroyed the trade currency And because the price floor exists
And actually inducing kids and teens to do things its a little bit illegal |

Support.
25 tix would be good.
That way bots would need to wait 3 days for a purchase Newer players can buy a full set of gear in 5 days

Remove it, make the designers decide how much they want to sell their stuff for. They reason for this was: "..so the clothing designers can make more tix/robux!"--they would decide that themselves, wouldn't they?

I agree...
its that I have to wait 10 days to get one shirt. its like ROBLOX doesn't care about us, its all about the money.
I think we should atleast lower it to 50 tix and 5 Robux. |

You're wasting your time here. Roblox doesn't care that you don't like the price floor, otherwise they would have removed it. I visit S&I daily, and I see at least 1 thread asking for the price floor to be removed. It's been here for 2 years now. It's not going away, no matter how much you ask.

@Kingkendrick, I support 110%. One ROBLOX developer I know, named PinkOBot, really suffered with the addition of price floors. She sells medium-quality clothing like pajamas, basic outfits, and bathrobes. She used to sell all her clothing for 3 Tix, and got 100's, and even 1000's of sales on all of her items. But, with her clothes now priced about 33.3x times more expensive, her sales have slowed to a tiny crawl.
ROBLOX needs to climb onto the Capitalist, Free-market bandwagon, and leave the Socialism behind. Even with my game (showcase), I only make about 10 Tix per day on it, and so I still have to wait 10 days if I want to buy a whole outfit and still break even... On my first account, I used to buy tons of clothes, but now, even with all I've saved up, I rarely buy any. |

I usually don't respond to these because of the ignorance that is usually contained within. Nonetheless, I will today because I am quite bored.
The price floor was implemented for a variety of reasons, some mentioned and some not.
A big reason why the price floor was implemented was to partially help even out the economy. The currency (mainly speaking, tickets) taken out of the economy would help to balance TC a bit, as our economy is based on player decisions.
Again, as I have stated on numerous previous threads, Roblox is based on constructive criticism and will implement ideas based on that. Demanded that something beneficial to the economy be removed without being replaced with something else is destructive, and Roblox staff will just overlook the thread.
Now, maybe take the time you put into tearing down the price floor and put it into an idea that could replace the price floor, aka assist in balancing out the economy, raise catalog quality, etc. |

"The reason that NBCSC became so popular was because it gave people the opportunity to get the clothes they want, without having to wait 2 weeks in order to buy a full set(shirt+pants)."
So you're saying it got popular because it meant they didn't have to pay for clothes. |
