How do you open source animations to other players after you have made them? I need to give animations to a friend, but it's not working.

Unfortunately, ROBLOX made it impossible to share animations (for some stupid reason). What you will have to do is load the animation in Animation Editor, save it locally to the place (Press Save, not Export), log into your friend's account, open up that place, open up the Animation Editor, load the previous animation you saved (Load, not Import since the animation is saved on the place file), and Export that animation via your friend's account.

Note: when you save the place, you will need to save it as a .RBLX file (or whatever file format roblox uses). You will save the place file on your computer, instead of publishing the place to roblox.

Can our friends simply log in themselves and take it?

No, because as Counterforce was saying, Roblox does not allow users to make their animations "free", and therefore you your friend won't be able to just take it.

As said earlier, if you want to share your animation with a friend, you'll have to do the following:
1. Save the animation to your computer
2. Log out of your account
3. Ask your friend to log into the same computer
4. Ask your friend to open the animation, which is on your computer, in Studio
5. Ask your friend to "Export" the animation, thus saving it to the roblox website
6. Now your friend has a copy of the animation

Hope these steps help.

It's really stupid. I don't understand why ROBLOX made it that way. I've ran into the same problem before.
