You ride on the Halftrack, listening to your friends cheerfully talking about the superiority of the Fatherland, compared to the Russians. You ignore their ramblings.
Suddenly, the half-track halted. A man emerged from the truck behind you and walked towards the half-track. It was the Offizier. The Offizier said that this village would be an ideal place for a forward base. You can push the halftrack or check the houses to make sure they're clear. |

Check the houses on the outskirts first, before moving inwards towards the center of the village. After all, from a military standpoint, the outskirts of the city give you more area to shoot at.
Search each house by peering through windows, clearing the first floor, and then clearing the next floor up. |

Equipment: FG42, 3 mags. Luger, 2 mags. Standard Fallschirmjaeger helmet, medical kit, personal belongings, knife.
You walk towards the houses on the outside, as 2 of your friends come with you.
You looked into the windows on the first house. Then the second. Then the third...
All clear. But on the way to the fourth house, you hear gunshots. They came from the half-track's direction. First, you heard a gunshot. Followed by German yelling and then the burp of the MG42.
"Partisans", you figured. Russian infantry all pulled out of here last night. From the sound of it, it looks like they came from the fourth house up the street, on the other side of the dirt road.
What do you do now? |

| Use the houses as cover as I run up to flank the partisans. If possible, order the MG42 to cover me while I breach into the house |

You begin to move towards the other side of the street, right behind the half-track as it is opening fire. You climb into the half-track and notifies the gunner of your plans. He nods, and begins providing suppressing fire.
As you jump off the half-track, you immediately head to the other side of the street. Your kameraden follow you close behind, as you try your best to move silently.
The partisans do not suspect a thing. You see them, ducking for cover inside the house. You move towards them, very closely.
Grenades or just shoot them? |

You pull out your grenade, and your men do the same. Two grenades were thrown at the same time. The partisans threw one out of the house, before you popped up and emptied 1/4th a magazine into his face. He dropped dead immediately, and a flurry of shrapnel flew out of the windows as the grenade went off.
"No way they survived that." You thought, as you moved forward. But you still have doubts. Investigate further or just leave it? |

You kick down the door. As you move in, your senses are assaulted by the foul stench of mangled blood mixed with bloodied steel, the sight of men lying dead with limbs missing. One of the partisans, a woman, was still barely alive.
She won't be able to fight back, but she is still trying to crawl away. What do you do? |

| Disarm her, if possible, then take her back to the halftrack for (hopefully) a return back to HQ. |

You kick any weapons away from her reach, and grab her by the arm. But as you pull her onto her feet, you heard a distinctive clang, of a grenade hitting the floor. The girl had released the pin, and plan to take you along with her.

You hurled the woman aside and grabbed the grenade. You drew a mental image of the grenade's trajectory out the broken window. As you lift your arm to throw it, you yelled out loudly: "Granate!!" as the grenade flies out the window, a split second before it blew up.
The shrapnel was mostly blocked, but some of it hit you, and sent you flying backwards.
It was just a minor injury, but it hurt like hell. What do you do? |

| Call a medic for myself and the woman, myself being prioritized over the woman. After this, search the dead bodies for souvineers. |

You yelled at the top of your lungs for a medic. Soon after that, a medic came, along with another infantryman, to keep an eye on the woman. The woman had some basic bandages applied, and then was taken back to field HQ.
After 15 minutes, you were okay and on your feet again, as the medic moves out to other places of need. You look at the dead bodies and started searching them.
One of them had a machete, and another had a gold tooth. What do you take? |

You grabbed the machete, along with the scabbard for it, and slung it over your shoulders. It now lies neatly on the left side of your belly.
As you get out of the house, you hear more gunfire coming from the town hall. You headed there, and was greeted by a hail of bullets, from the belltower of the local church, adjacent to the town hall.
As you ducked down, you saw a lightweight infantry support gun being rolled up by your fellow Fallschirmjaeger. You can run to them and direct the targets, or stay there. |

| Run to them and direct the targets, my personal well being is inferior to the well being on my brothers in arms. Direct them to fire at the belltower with HE first. and them the roof itself with HE to suffocate everyone in there. |

You ran at top speed, with bullets landing near your feet. You get behind the infantry support gun's gun shield, as a few bullets clanged and sparked on the thick metal.
You point at the belltower and told the crew its range. The men then rotated the gun, and pulled the trigger. The belltower was blown in half, as the gun and the Russian tumbled down to their demise. The next round went into the roof of the church, which then collapsed.
Just as one gun is silenced, 2 more guns emerged, this time, from the town hall itself. One MG on the ground, plus a heavy MG on the second floor window.

In a blink of an eye, the heavy MG was gone, blown into smithereens. But that did not silence the lower floor, as you'd hoped. Instead, the MG on the ground still fired, but this time, the partisans retreated out of the house, into your line of sight.

HE rounds slammed into the dirt, throwing the partisans up into the air, some with limbs, others without. You pick up your FG42 and started opening fire, also.
The MG diverted its focus from the half-track to you. One of the crewmen operating the support gun gets hit in the shoulder, forcing you to drag him behind the shield.
Wait for the half-track to take it out or risk yourself in the crewman's place, to finish off the MG yourself? |

| Might as well try to take it out, relying on others is a very dangerous thing. Open fire with the support gun on the MG. |
