You should write Buzzfeed articles.

Phoenix is Jean Grey and she is far from underrated. She is a main character in the X-Men series of comics and is involved in almost every major storyline.
As for Spawn, Luther Strode, The Crow, and Jackie Estacado, there's not much to say. Spawn is not very underrated depending on who you ask. His first issue sold quite well, especially since they over produced it. Granted, his major film was terrible in every since of the word, but the character remained at the top of Image until The Walking Dead stole the spotlight. The Crow, as well, is not underrated. I've met James O. Barr at a comic book convention, and I can guarantee you the fanbase is far from dead. Less we forget it's theatrical release was positively received by both critics and fans, which can only boost the comic up.
Luther Strode only ran for a few months. I know it was positively received, but at the same time, I'm not sure if it was intentionally cut short or not. As for The Darkness, it's fair to say that one is a tad bit overrated. I know both video games were positively received, and the comics are praised as well. However, it deserves a lot more exposure than given and it's well over due for a film. I didn't list The Darkness on here because I wasn't thinking about it at the time. |
