| Worth noting that he also has more points right now in only 4 games than ANYONE SCORED IN THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT LAST YEAR. |

| Can I ask you one thing. Where are his fellow linemates ranked in scoring? Oh yea, right behind him. It's the entire line that's dominating, not just him doing it by himself. |

And the same doesn't go for Matthews? He also has his linemates right behind him.
Puljujärvi leads his entire line in both goals and assists, while Matthews only leads in goals.
Pound for pound, Puljujärvi is the better player. The only reason anyone seriously thinks BUSTon is going to go #1 is because he's played on North American ice dimentions. |

It's also worth pointing out that Matthews is a center, which is a position that is largely expected to carry a forward line. JP is not.
I'll be fair to Matthews about one point though,
Matthews and his linemates may not have the same chemistry that Puljujärvi has with Sebastian Aho, who is also his linemate in club team hockey as well as the U20 national team. However, to counter that point, Matthews DID play in the USNTDP last year with both of his offensive linemates (Tkachuk and White). |
