I'm saving up which should I get? I need it for high school next year.
I want a PC because it's cheaper for me. But, I'm not a fan of Windows 10 and it won't work my with my printer. I would really like a Mac because I can take this media class (the only classroom operated on Mac) and it will work pretty fine. But, it's very expensive and I'm not sure if Roblox and The Sims will function as well as it does on my family PC.

I'm not really planning to do hardcore fps gaming or anything like that. Just for Roblox and Sims.

"I'm not really planning to do hardcore fps gaming or anything like that. Just for Roblox and Sims." they'd both run fine on either or but if you want more fps and better quality choose windows

PC if you are poor and/or wanna run more advance OSes like linux and/or wanna game you can turn your INTEL based (no amd sorry) laptop/computer into a hackintosh too and run os x if you really need it, just try to get a popular brand and a popular model laptop/computer because they usually have guides written for them
mac if you're bad at computers, don't need any ports apart from an USB type C connector, no fans and pretty useless laptop IMO (because no ports)
and about your printer, google your printer model, go to their site and download the drivers problem solved
also please explain why you don't like Windows 10 so much |

My macbook pro has two USB 3.0 ports, two thunderbolt ports, fans, and a magsafe port
Why don't you know anything about computers? |

i bet you reach a maximum of 5 fps on 1280x800 resolution with your high settings fallout 4
your MacBook pro has those ports because it's an older version which is still useful, the new one is very useless and relies on thermal throttling to cool down the CPU which gives you a low FPS on simple games like sims and roblox |

Don't believe that you can, tell me your specs, because I know someone with a MACBook Pro, and there MACBOOK Pro almost blew up from running Fallout 4 on medium settings. |

Actually on high in native resolution I usually get between 40-50, whereas on medium and low I usually stay around 50-60
"your MacBook pro has those ports because it's an older version which is still useful"
It was released in May 2015 lmao
" the new one is very useless and relies on thermal throttling to cool down the CPU which gives you a low FPS on simple games like sims and roblox"
You're thinking of the 12" Macbook, not the Macbook Air or the MacBook Pro, do you understand how product tiers work? |

Model: MacBook Pro 15" mid-2015 Processor: Intel i7 2.5 GHZ GPU: AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB RAM: 16 GB 1600 GHz DDR3 SSD: 512 GB
See, your friend's MacBook is probably an older model or perhaps one without the dedicated AMD graphics processor like mine. Mine is the newest and one of the more expensive models so it's likely they don't have the same one :) |

mac is very nice and can do lots of things
if you say why its bad MAYBE ill actually think about it but from your response you're clearly a typical bandwagoner

@qondui or whatever your name is i see now, but i think the OP was talking about the 12" MacBook. if he was talking about the MacBook pro, he would know he can get a gaming laptop with GTX 980 and other high specs for only about $1200 before you say "that's BS show your proof please?", do a quick Google search about budget gaming laptops and look at the 1000+ price tag. |

Except gaming products are gimmicks and you'll look like an idiot if you take your 20 pound laptop places with you |

you vcould build a decent gaming pc with even 900 or 800 - 850 bucks lol
gaming pcs that you buy such as alienware are all overpriced in the thousands and even 2000 with just a few custom things they obviously know people who buy their stuff dont know how or dont want to build their own pc so they buy another already made pc |

yes but it's still a better choice than getting a laptop for the same price with lower specs, less fearures, an OS that does less and a worse design with Windows you get better performance per dollar than you do with mac. i'm not saying windows is superior to mac in every way, but if he tries to game on a 12" MacBook, he'll run into problems personally i'd get a 2-in-1 windows tablet/laptop |
