I'd say:

1. Don't let you build in game

2. BE ABLE TO SAVE stats and possibly spawning classes (read next one)

3. Buy weapons you can spawn with but would cost alot of currency or robux and once bought they can be spawned when you spawn in the world an unlimited amount of time.

Same goes for gear, clothing, perks, etc.

4. AUG, SCAR, all those popular rifles, Ots-14, AK-101, but make them like a custom name, so it seems more cool instead of having their boring names ( a lot of games do that )

5. Make spawned weapons have a chance of having attachments, to where the point the most dangerous place in the game has rare attachments, can either be found by themselves or already mounted on weapons.

6. Flashlights that have batteries (which also spawn)

7. Good locations that correlate to eachother (power stations, assembly factories, small towns, abandoned outposts created during the apocalypse) and display the name of the locations on a map you can find / on your HUD.

8. RADIATION zones, and gas masks and "laboratory" clothing you can find to prevent radiation, HAZMAT suits, etc. Medicine for healing radiation also.

9. Both NEW and OLD weapons.

10. Realisticness like swimming in water can give radiation poisoning or holding breath for too long, medicine or food that decays and expires can give side effects like reversing your wasd keys to make walking harder for a short while.

11. PREVENT using vehicles, though stationary vehicles can be placed in the world and with loot.

12. Containers that can be stored but not made or placed, but where loot is contained to free up visual lag (an inventory HUD appears)

13. NO CRAFTING!

14. LOOTABLE containers like chests, duffel bags, ammunition crates, vending machines, ATM's, cash registers, file cabinets and desks.

15. Maybe add some quests or a storyline, that correlate to the purchasing before spawning. Doing a several quest which can be accessed from a menu, not from an NPC, can be started any time, and could reward things that can be spawned with via the spawning menu.

16. Bosses that spawn in extreme locations of the map (radiation zones, mountains).

17. NO SNOW, it lags the game a lot and looks terrible just seeing all snow all over the place.

18. Dynamic weather that doesn't lag, so instead, it would make visual effects to your character or his weapon or clothing, or statistical effects like slowness in muddy locations of the map.

19. Radiation zones if a player dies from too much radiation they could die and be spawned into a boss, but a chance, to prevent farming if enemies and/or bosses drop certain loot.

20. And the final one, combat logging. Making sure people don't leave while getting shot approx. 15 seconds before leaving. First time warn, second time inventory reset, and third character reset.
