Which is a better set up for higher framerates in ROBLOX - Higher-tier GPU and a lower tier/older processor Newer/higher tier processor with a lower tier GPU
Basically, I'm broke and want to play DRIVE at max settings above what I'm getting now which is like 24fps. My specs are: Core2quad @ 2.33ghz Radeon 6570 5GB DDR3 RAM |

To reduce lag, try turning down the gq (graphics quality) in the roblox game.
This normally works for me, as i have a low tier GPU aswell.
With this you should get around 78+ fps. |

I did that, and even went as far to underclock my GPU to which there was no performance difference. At highest settings I got around the same framerates every time. I think it's something to do with the enormous amount of inefficient lua code in that game mixed with my old processor, because I get 60fps on basically every other game I play. |

| Probably graphics. I have played ROBLOX on 1.0-1.4 GHZ Machines, have good built in graphics with no issues. |

Its more CPU Intensive, it recognizes multi-core processors but not multi-core GPU's.
You could have a Pentium 4 and an AMD w9100 together and you wouldnt get that great of a graphical experience, or you could have an i7 and a ge fore gt640 from 2009 and get a fantastic graphical experience.
Go for a better processor, its used or more things anyway and would improve your build more than a new gpu. |

The AMD Radeon HD 6570 (1GB) is a sub 100 dollar card, so it will degrade. With 5 GB DDR3 RAM, not bad. Honestly if you're aiming to get lag reduced, just simply turn down your graphics. I run on max with no lag with a GTX 960 2GB, 16 GB RAM, core I5 Quad Processor. But let's be honest, it's over kill obviously.
You can get a pretty decent gaming rig for under 500 dollars providing you already have mouse, keyboard, screen, and DDR3 RAM MIGHT work if you wanna use the same motherboard. |

| My 500 dollar laptop can barely handle Roblox and it's fairly new, with Pentium Core and 8 GB RAM. The graphics are... well standard. |
