GAREMTH REALM: The Story of Broken Gods (not very good at titles, lol)
===============================================================================
THE BACKSTORY

The world is balanced by gods. Each and every element is controlled by a specific god. This was created so there could be balance. One entity controlling everything brought fear of total domination. Unfortunately, not all gods held to their duties. A few gods went against the council and broke one of the most sacred rules; they fornicated within the system. Although the number of gods who participated in such awful acts were few, it was enough to unbalance the system. The unbalance system caused chaos amongst the gods themselves. As a result of these broken rules, the goddess of the humans created three specific off-spring, all of which were banished from the council. In anger, these gods gave their powers to a select number of humans. The powers were very specific and it was unpredictable who would be gifted with them. The god’s selection was random and every child born had a 50/50 chance of being selected. After a while, the humans who weren’t selected with such powers felt inferior. The humans classified themselves different from those who had powers. Anybody who was gifted with a certain power was not human anymore, instead, the coined term was Sprites.

During the early years of Earth, Sprites and humans lived together on the ‘Earth Realm’. Then came along a man with great knowledge and wisdom. This man went by the name Garemth, the father of the Sprites. Garemth possessed a very special kind of power. This power was different from those of the three gods. He was known as a Chosen One. He had the ability to foresee the future and was able to manipulate dimensions. With this power he could see humans and Sprites would not be able to live together in peace. Human’s possessed evil-like traits such as fear, lust and anger. These certain traits would cause war amongst them and the Sprites; a war that would have no winner. Garemth created a new dimension called the ‘Garemth Realm.’ This realm had the exact same geography as Earth, the only difference was that it was home to the Sprites. No humans from the Earth Realm was allowed to enter. In this realm, the Sprites could live together in peace without the fear of the humans attacking.

Garemth was a very intelligent man. He created teleports that could transfer you back and forth from both realms. This was a very powerful tool that he created, one that had to be kept secret from the population. He feared the power would find its way into the hands of someone who would use it for evil. He also created the ‘Transfer Teleports.’ These teleports were able to go into the Earth Realm and identify children at very young ages. If they possessed the powers of the gods, the teleport would then lure these children into the portal so that they could live amongst the Sprites. A child has not yet fully developed human-like traits and, as a result, the child would have no knowledge of the Earth Realm. This was done in order to train the child in the art of the Sprites, and to keep order within the realms. Garemth believed no child should be in fear of expressing a gift granted to them by the gods. He wanted every Sprite to be able to express their powers freely and without fear. Another thing Garemth created was the ‘Bynding Table.’ This table was a sacred tool from the gods. When an Unmarked Child is placed on the Bynding Table, they will be able to communicate with the gods. The gods will then mark the child of what powers they possess. The markings are color coordinated based on what god gifted them there powers, and the symbols will vary on the child’s personality traits.

With these new creations in place, Garemth was able to keep peace among both realms.. until one day. One day, a boy of an older age, around 16 to 17, entered a Transfer Portal. This created chaos and confusion among the Sprite community. Being on the Earth Realm that long, the boy has already developed the human-like traits that Garemth tried so hard to get rid in his realm. Garemth was to foresee danger in the boy. For a Transfer Portal to allow someone of that age to come through, only meant that the portal identified the boy to have great powers. Garemth made the risky decision to Bynd the boy. When they Bynded the boy, the colors imprinted on him were dark purple. This color was never before seen amongst the community. This meant the boy possessed a very special power, just like Garemth. The boy went by the name of Sevidus.

Sevidus was an extremely fast learner. He was able to learn just about any kind power that was presented with him; ignorance was his only weakness. Since Sevidus was such a fast learner, he was able to not only learn, but be proficient in all three of the god’s powers. Not only that, but he was even able to learn some of Garemth’s own powers; which worried Garemth very much. Sevidus became very arrogant and considered himself more highly than anybody else in the community. The community was not very fond of Sevidus’s actions. One night, Sevidus snuck inside of Garemth's secret archive library. This library contained all of Garemth’s knowledge about the gods, the Earth Realm, and Dimension Manipulation. Sevidus quickly learned about the powers within the Earth Realm. He learned the Earth Realm could destroy all other realms that it was the only realm that could open a direct portal to the gates of the gods. Sevidus gained powers quickly, quicker than he was able to train, but that did not matter for young Sevidus. Sevidus fantasized about being able to walk among the gods, even claimed himself to be a fallen god. Sevidus became very angry at Garemth, for banishing the sprites into another realm. One day he called out Garemth claiming he could defeat him and become ruler of the Garemth Realm. Unfortunately, his foolish actions left him embarrassed in front of the community, for he was no match for Garemth himself. Garemth also recognized some of Sevidus’s new powers, which he would have only been able to learn if snuck inside of his library. Garemth became angry and protective over his people. He knew Sevidus would not be able to live among his people in harmony, so he banished him from the community.

Garemth knew that this would not be the end of Sevidus. Sevidus would train his powers and would try to defeat Garemth and his people. Garemth created 'The Lodge', a giant fortress only used to train those of special powers, and prepare them in case of an attack from Sevidus. Since Sevidus learned about Dimension Manipulation, he was also recruiting young kids and training them in his ‘Dark Arts.’ He later claimed his clan to be called the ‘Dark Hearts.’ Sevidus became extremely powerful. This power led him to create powerful, unearthly like beast. These creatures were of astronomical proportion. Sevidus created an army, an army that would attempt to destroy Garemth and his realm. Sevidus sent an attack on The Lodge, but Garemth and his people were ready for battle. The battle went on for many days and nights, and many lives were lost. The battle went down in history as "The Battle of Titans." Sevidus became much stronger than Garemth. Garemth had no choice but to revert to his last hope. He banished Sevidus and his creatures to a new realm in which he was forced to create. This realm was called the "Dark Realm." This realm was only of pain and torture. Sevidus and his army of monsters were imprisoned there for eternity. Unfortunately, this was not the end of Sevidus. Sevidus was so powerful, he was still able to control and command the Dark Hearts, even from his new realm. He trained his leaders to continue seeking out other children in order to one day take over The Lodge and pursue the rest of the remaining archives that were now locked away in Garemth’s secret vault.

Unfortunately for Garemth, the Garemth Realm did not stay as pure as he had intended. Children that did not possess powers were managing to come inside the Transfer Portals. Sprites could not pass down their powers to their offspring, it was an extremely rare occurrence for this to happen. Therefore, many people were banished from The Lodge because they did not possess the powers of the Sprites. The Garemth Realm quickly turned into another world of itself. Different races of people were being sprouted. Nations and empires were being born. The Garemth realm quickly became another Earth.

===============================================================================
SOME OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

THE THREE MAIN POWERS SPRITES POSSESS:

Cycloxophre: This power is given from the god Cyredius himself, an offspring from the Human goddess, Hermaine, and the god of mystic and electricity, Exzeficer. Cycloxophre, or 'Cyclox' for short, is the most common power granted amongst the Sprite community. Some people are even able to develop Cyclox-like traits who were not even Marked. Most people are only able develop very simple powers. These powers were very weak, and most only resulted in small sparks. The Lodge was able create a type of armor that enhances the Cyclox powers. The magnetic fields inside the very cyanide blue armor is able to help the Cyclox people create more powerful beams of lightening, as well as create a natural shock defense. Sprites who have mastered the art of Cyclox have been able to produce even greater powers, such as ShockWave fields and Shock Beams. The Cyclox people value organization in their numbers. They believe in fighting for honor and would rather die on the battlefield before anything else. They value strength in numbers, and their numbers is definitely to their advantage.

Woodrush: This power is given from the god Woodernus, an offspring from the Human goddess, Hermaine, and the god of nature and trees, Trecherous. Woodrush is a rare tree like power given to the very few. Unlike other powers, learning this power is not through constant training and studying. The Woodrush people learn their powers the more they ‘grow.’ This method of learning is called the “growing effect” and is only used by the Woodrush people. At young ages, the power of the Woodrush people come within side of them. As little as 5, they start to ‘sprout’, and through their teenage years they start growing into their powerful wood armor. The growing process leaves many funny and off-setting pieces of armor. Once the beautiful armor finally fits into its owner, the powers given to them not to be taken lightly. They are extremely strong and some the toughest warriors in the Garemth Realm. Some of the more advanced Woodrush warriors are even able to shape shift and traverse underground and around their surrounding environment. They are known for dealing heavy crowd control damage. Woodrush train in excluded groups. They believe in patience and virtue as the way to manifest their true powers. This does not mean a Woodrush warrior can’t lose his temper though. An angry Woodrush will make sure to leave a pathway of destruction before he is stopped.

Fyre Draygon: The power created by the god Fyrex himself, an offspring from the Human goddess, Hermaine, and the god of fire, Fyre. Fyre Draygon’s are the rarest Sprites that live on the Garemth Realm. A Fyre Draygon is cunning, quick witted, and intelligent. Their quickness and agility make them a major threat to anybody who gets in their way. They train in arts of the ‘Draygon’, similar to those of Kung-Fu origins. A Fyre Draygon will produce heavy blows with their skilled art in manipulating fire. However, there is one key factor that sets Fyre Draygon’s above all other Sprites. All Fyre Draygon's have the ability to produce a Draygon Rage. A Draygon Rage is the most devastating and intense power for anyone to experience. A Draygon Rage is when a Fyre Draygon becomes so angry that the powers take control of their body, causing them to go into a fiery fit of rage. The Draygon Rage is able to summon Fyrex himself and even fire element creatures from the Dark Realm. In Rage mode, their powers are enhanced 50x times and they are almost impossible to stop. However, every Draygon Rage results in a Cooldown. A Cooldown is where the Fyre Draygon reaches the end of its Rage and goes into an intense state of fatigue. Without proper training, some Fyre Draygon’s die after their first Rage. The Fyre Draygon are trained to control their temper and to withstand the pains of Cooldown. Some powerful Fyre Draygon fighters are even able to manipulate Draygon Rage to be able to produce the Rage whenever they want without the negative effects of Cooldown.

CHOSEN ONE: Source of origin is unknown, the god who produces a Chosen One could be any of them. Their powers can vary and it’s very hard to find someone who is able to train a Chosen One to find their inner powers. Some go their entire life without finding their power, and some have powers so insignificant that they are banished from The Lodge. Others, however, can become some of the strongest, and mightiest creatures in all the realms.

BYNDING TABLE: The Table is a large mystical stone circle that possess an emulating glow. When a child is placed on the table they are able to communicate with the god that possessed them with the power. If nothing happens, the child is not a Sprite.

When the Bynding process takes place it’s a beautiful site to see. The child is levitated above the table and is twisted and turned in a massive beautiful chaotic scene. Light will temporarily shine out of the child's body, indicating that the Carving Process is taking place. To the child, they do not see what is happening. Their soul is temporarily left from their body and sent to the gods, this is the only time a child is allowed to enter the god realm. While the child is speaking with the gods, the Bynding Process is taking place on their temporary body, to classify what kind of Sprite they will become.

I will be the game master. I will create a character, but I will also control the setting of everything. My action of the game world will only be used to keep the RP interesting.

The time is 1000 years after Garemth has passed away. Its unsure if Sevidus has passed away or not but there hasn't been a battle as destructive as The Battle of the Titans. The Lodge has been divided into a council, the master of each power, and the head chancellor that oversees The Lodge and it's operations.

You can only be a member of The Lodge. The Dark Hearts are a very secret organization at this point and it is unsure of their base location or if they even exist anymore for that matter, but you may find yourself wrapped in all of that soon.

REITERATION OF THE TIME AND SETTING:

It's a thousand years after Garemth passed away. The Garemth has been turned into another Earth with many different factions and people. The big scare is still focused on the Dark Hearts, who haven't been heard of for over 500 years now. There is rumors that they are planning another attack, but it's just rumors for now.

You are a member of The Lodge, you have been recruited, and depending on age, trained to fight at the best of your abilities. For now, The Lodge serves as a main diplomatic capital for all surrounding countries in the area. After Garemth passed away, he requested that The Lodge be overlook as a council. The council will be ran by the three masters of each power, and one chancellor. The chancellor will always be a chosen one, unless no chosen one is present. At this period of time, their hasn't been a chosen one since Garemth and Sevidus. So the chancellor was the next position in power; Cravis. Cravis is an ancient Fyre Draygon who is one of the few remaining veterans from the Battle of the Titans.

As said before, The Lodge is a main diplomatic capital for all surrounding countries. They only oversee actions that need to be taken when balance is disturbed or peace needs to be brought to a certain civilization. The Lodge remains open and peaceful to any creature until word of Dark Hearts again, then it has executive orders to command an immediate shutdown of all other affairs, and starts back up with the operations it was first built to do. This executive order will be present until any threats of Dark Hearts are diminished.

(@killczar, the Chosen One is extremely rare; and the Chosen One plays a big part during the RP. I'll only allow you to have such powers if and only if you will follow the rules and guidelines wholeheartedly and you remain active. If you do not then the character will go away and as GM i'll dictate the Chosen Ones actions)

(As for anybody else, there will be no more Chosen Ones)

Setting: MID DAY AROUND 2:30 PM. THE SUN IS SHINING AND THE BIRD ARE CHIRPING

PLOT: The Lodge is hustling and bustling with new people everyday. Ever since the council decided to make The Lodge open to everybody many people come in with many different mindsets. Tourism, selling, or asking for diplomatic help. While the council oversees all diplomatic work, the rest of The Lodge members are asked to not participate or even communicate that much with tourist or traveling merchants. They have a duty and that is to train. At this point in the day every member enters the courtyard for Cravis words of encouragement.

Kaitlyn ran around, searching for her bow and her quiver full of arrows. Finally, she spotted then laying against a tree. "Aha, there they are!" Quickly, she grabbed them, examining her bow and checking for any damage. Slinging the quiver's strap over her shoulder, she looked around quickly before climbing up a nearby tree. She had a nearby training spot that was known only to her, and she traveled by tree top to ensure that she was not spotted.

(Ah, what the hell, I'll post my CS now, but I won't be able to be active until January.)

Name: Darikinth

Age: 32

Bynding Color: Turquoise

Bynding Symbol: A five-pointed star with a Roman Numeral III in the centre. People aren't particularly sure of what to make of it, but he personally advocates for it being an astronomical symbol and a number morphed together instead of some unknown type of symbol.

Personality: Darikinth is a very outgoing person, regularly attending parties that he's invited to and going out of his way to maintain social relations with other people. His outgoingness makes him a natural person for his peers to go to if they need any help with anything, although he is too young and doesn't care enough to have any positions of political importance. In addition to being a social person, he is also very good at strategy games such as chess, and when strategizing in such games is an extremely cautious and defensive player, and that did allow him to gain leadership positions of minor military importance, eventually being promoted up to the rank at which he can lead a small squadron of his own.

Physical Appearance: He's somewhat shorter than average, standing at 1.7m, with short brown hair that's too short for him to even need to comb it. He is cleanly shaven on his face, making his somewhat narrow jawline and slightly big ears visible to everyone. His eyes are the same turquoise colour that was present at the Bynding table, and many women have called his face handsome. His ethnicity is white, and he is somewhat thin.

He normally wears nothing but his Woodrush armour. With it appearing to be made out of a beautiful red wood and with intricate carvings, all of which was naturally done, he figures that he doesn't need to get any other clothing for when he's in public, and he especially doesn't need anything else for his job in the local military (which at the moment seems to be more akin to a fitness trainer than an actual military position).

Bio(optional): Can I do this later?

Other: I'd just like to quickly mention that, despite being the oldest Woodrush character so far, he's not powerful enough to manipulate the entirety of his surroundings or shapeshift, unless you as the OP want that to be somewhat common for an early 30s Woodrush character.

(I read through the other CSes to see how I could make mine unique and interesting, and I found that nobody else was above the age of 20, with one of the PCs being even younger than I am in real life. That is somewhat extraordinary, as I would have expected someone else to decide to be somewhat older given the number of joiners you have.)

Name: Xyzin
Age: 30
Bynding Color: Crimson
Bynding Symbol: Python
Personality: Xyzin is most definitely NOT good at hand-to-hand combat, although he is very tactical and can strike where the enemy is weakest, sometimes even gaining the upper hand without backup. Despite his lack of skill at hand-to-hand, he carries a knife and prefers to stab his enemy instead of engage in a long fight. He can plan attacks very well, but has never been given a chance to put this to use except for back in training where he was tasked, along with 5 other people, of defeating a team of assailants that had been murdering targets. The mission was a success and their operation shut down, but Xyzin has never been given such a task since then. Xyzin is very competitive, as well, and will resort to whatever means possible to win. Very sly and cunning, Xyzin is a worthy opponent (if you're willing to be stabbed).
Physical Appearance: Xyzin stands about 6'0", and slightly toned, but definitely not the most muscular you would see in your lifetime. He has messy black hair, black eyes, and light brown skin.
Bio(optional): N/A

Update on list:

1 Cyclox
2 Fyre Draygons
1 Woodrush

(Also, killczar, I should of mentioned in the rules and I apologize, but one-liners aren't very acceptable; especially for your character. Also, after a lot of thinking, if you could make a new character that wasn't the chosen one that would be great. I apologize for the inconvenience but The Chosen One plays a big role in the RP. Also, great CS eikoopmat. All is accepted.. for now, but try and make yours more like his. Very good!)

(Oh and there will not be a surplus number of one type of power. As of right now, once there is 4 in a certain category than its maxed out until everyone else becomes 4.)

Cravis comes into the courtyard wearing the most elegant robe in all of Garemth. For such an older man he stands tall and mighty. The crowd of merchants and travelers stop what they are doing and silence as the Chancellor of Peace begins to speak.

"As you may or may not know.. our neighboring allies are in some bit of assistance. Now, I don't want rumors spreading or anything and please you do not need to worry about anything.. but.." Cravis hesitated, "There appears to be rumors of the Dark Hearts.."

The crowd erupts with confusion and and nervous excitement. Mentioning the Dark Hearts was a serious notice. Not one to be taken lightly and the crowd surely shows it.

"Now, now, everyone settle down. These are just rumors as of now. I'm only informing you because we take these accusations very seriously. I would like all members of The Lodge to report to the main hall. We have stuff to discuss.. Oh, and for the wonderful people from all parts of the Garemth Realm, enjoy your time here at The Lodge."
