| mouse weights weigh down mice for people who don't like their mouse being too light, it can really make a difference |

ATH M40X for a pair of headphones, for a mouse, I'd just get a WMO 1.1a, they're much better mice than they look. The top level Quake players use these, actually.
If you're going to get a keyboard, I'd opt for a K70 RGB if you got the dosh. |

| People still play Quake. And the mouse is still relevant.Side buttons aren't needed unless you play MMOs or strategy games. |

if you're buying a headset for a mic i suggest ditching the headset all together and investing money in a condenser microphone instead condensers are superior in quality to electret (headset) microphones, transmit sounds better and are standalone. only thing about condensers is they require "phantom power" units, which is basically a separate power united with a phantom power cord. if i may recommend one, it`s called "the mouse" and it's manufactured by blue microphones. you'll need to buy a separate phantom power unit and cord but it's well worth the investment. to sample the quality of the mouse watch any recent good mythical morning video, it really does sound that great. i have it, i can vouch for it.
as for mice, mice depend on what you want for gaming. if you play a lot of FPS games you should consider a mouse with a high DPI and laser instead of optical/physical (DPI should be 8,000 or more for FPS games)
but for MMOs, MOBAs, RPGs etc you should be fine with a mouse that has a lot of buttons. you can find a lot of great mice on amazon for reasonable prices but if i may suggest some i've personally used and continue to use:
the razer oroborous and the razer chroma naga. the former is an all-in-one mouse with detatchable things, 10,000 DPI, weights and laser. the latter is an 9,000 DPI mouse with a lot of buttons.
as for keyboards if you're serious about gaming you should invest in a mechanical keyboard. |

| 8,000 DPI is unnecessary and laser mice have acceleration. Razer mice are trash, there are very few mouse brands that are good outside of Corsair and Logitech. |
