For "white teenage girls" across America, I hear.
While as in Phoenix, where I live, we have a place called Dutch Bros. All the teenagers like it, including myself. |

Unfortunately, yes. It's overpriced garbage. Every time I've tried it, it has always just been either mediocre or flat-out disgusting. Dunkin Donuts is a lot cheaper and tastes sooooo much better. |

@Kaizerius
Yeah, I like how where I live has their own unique coffee place.
We also have QT (Quik Trip), which is barely around anywhere else in America.
Do any of you folks have places that aren't around in most other places? |

| And I really hate how people have to make their average coffee be some "white chocolate vanilla bean peppermint mocha frappuccino". It's an insult to coffee. They have to mask the taste of coffee with a ton of sweets and preservatives. Why don't you go ahead and throw a few candy bars in a blender while you're at it? It's not coffee if it has literally more additives in it than coffee itself. If you don't like the taste of coffee, it's simple; don't drink it. Don't try to mask the taste with a ton of sweeteners and flavors. |

Dutch Bros has multiple different drinks that aren't even listed on the menu. I haven't had any yet, as I don't know any of their names. Or you can always ask them to surprise you, giving you something that also isn't on the menu.
There's also quite a few ways to get their drinks for free, apparently. Though the easiest way is just to have a friend that works there. |

"Never tasted their coffee... and I don't want to..." Yeah, it's literally nothing but mediocre. I don't understand the high-prices, either. It's probably Robusta coffee. It definitely tastes like burnt-Robusta coffee. DD's coffee is Arabica, and I can clearly tell, as it tastes a million-times better than Charbuck's """"coffee"""". |

@Vineshroom, Kaizerius & Misterfan
I assume you're all talking about Starbucks, heh. Unless you've all been to Dutch Bros too...
@D4rk652
I find coffee alone is terrible, but there's so many different things you can mix into it to give it tons of different flavors.
@Vineshroom
I don't see anything wrong with changing the flavor of coffee. Change it to whatever you like tasting, while still getting that energy boost. |

"I don't see anything wrong with changing the flavor of coffee." That's not the point. People change the flavor not to keep variety, but because they literally cannot stand the taste of true coffee. People who can't stand the real taste of coffee just shouldn't waste their time drinking it in the first place. |

@Vineshroom
I believe the main point of coffee becoming a drink was to give you energy.
... At least that's what I would assume the reason would be. Maybe the majority of people really did like the taste of plain coffee back then.
I certainly don't like coffee by itself. |

"I believe the main point of coffee becoming a drink was to give you energy." Regular coffee and espresso have the most caffeine though |

Hm, suppose that makes sense, since you'd be filling the cup with more coffee than flavors. Aside from the boost of energy, maybe the flavors just taste better mixed with coffee, rather than something like milk. |

I was gone from here for a year, as well. Trying to reach 40K.
Are you Firekiller? Guessing that based on your friends list. |
