I. TECOM Introduction
The Training and Education Command of the United States Marine Corps is responsible for the education and training of the newly enlisted Marines. With that said, the staff of TECOM has to be an elite number of instructors and commanding officers, all are responsible for the RT and OCS of the United States Marine Corps.

II. TECOM Chain of Command
The Chain of command shows you the positions in TECOM, it tells you what each duties are. When you have a question, follow your chain of command to help answer it. Start at the bottom and work your way up the Chain of Command. Remember to always respect people that are higher than you in the CoC.
[CJCS] Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Rank(s) Held: O10/O11 The CJCS is by law, the highest ranking military official in the U.S. Armed Services. He is the top of the food chain and is to be respected greatly. He owns and runs the USMC.
[CMC] Commandant of the Marine Corps Rank(s) Held: CMC/O10 The CMC is the highest ranking officer in the USMC. He oversees TECOM and advises the CJCS.
[DEPTGEN] Department General Rank(s) Held: O9 or O10 The Department General is basically the CO above the CO. He supervises every single aspect of TECOM to ensure that things do not fall apart. It is his right as the Department General to remove, add, or replace any staff for the benefit of TECOM.
[CG] Commanding Officer/General of the TECOM Rank(s) Held: O8 Commanding General of TECOM is the one who runs TECOM, he makes the handbooks and teaches those who need to be taught. He supervises the daily operations of TECOM.
[DCG] Executive Officer/Deputy Commanding Generalof the TECOM Rank(s) Held: O7 The Executive Officer is the assistant for the Commanding Officer, He also helps makes handbooks and teaches Marines what they need, He is also the person who runs TECOM when the Commanding Officer is not present.
[SMMC] Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Rank(s) Held: E9C/SMMC The SMMC is the man who is responsible for all Enlisted personnel and is also the advisor for the CMC. Everything done in TECOM runs through him.
[SGTMAJ] Sergeant Major of TECOM Rank: E9B - Sergeant Major The TECOM Sergeant Major acts as the senior-ranking Drill Instructor in TECOM. He/she commands all enlisted staff and reports directly to the XO and CO.
[SECCO] Section Commander Rank(s): O4-O6 - Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel There are 3 sections within TECOM, each led by a single Section Commander. Section 1 is Recruit Training, Section 2 is Officer Candidate School, and Section 3 is DI School.
[SERCO] Series Commander Rank(s): O1-O3 - Second Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, Captain The position of Series Commander is best described as a training supervisor. They do not partake in trainings the way that Drill Instructor's do, but they are there to supervise, for safety.
[CDI] Chief Drill Instructor Rank(s): E8b-E9a - First Sergeant, Master Gunnery Sergeant The job of the Chief Drill Instructor is to supervise trainings as well as manage lower ranking Drill Instructors. CDI's can hold DI schools but can also remove lower ranking Drill Instructors.
[HDI] Head Drill Instructor Rank(s): E8a-E8b - Master Sergeant, First Sergeant The role of the Head Drill Instructor is to act as a supervisor to lower ranking Drill Instructors. Like the CDI, they can hold DI schools.
[AHDI] Assistant Head Drill Instructor Rank(s): E7-E8a - Gunnery Sergeant, Master Sergeant The role of Asst. Head Drill Instructor is similar to that of the HDI, but just a grade lower.
[SDI] Senior Drill instructor Rank(s): E6-E7 - Staff Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant The role of the Senior Drill Instructor is to act as an immediate supervisor to DI's and JDI's. Usually, a training will be hosted by an SDI unless an AHDI+ is present.
[DI] Drill Instructor Rank(s): E5-E7, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant The role of the DI is to conduct training for officer candidates and new recruits. DI's should not host trainings unless there are no higher ranking DI's available, but cannot single handily host OCS.
[JDI] Junior Drill Instructor Rank(s) Held:E5+ The role of the Junior Drill Instructor is to assist DI's with conducting trainings, but they may NOT host on their own.
[DS] Drill Instructor School Rank(s): E4+ DS are those in school to become a Drill Instructor. __________________________________________________________________________
III: Drill and Ceremony
*Remember to NEVER break rank while in formation. This means never go between a STS line, ALWAYS go around it!*
Drill and Ceremony is a major thing here at the USMC. Here is what you need to know about drill.
Drill (Stationary): Drilling is a sequence of faces (Turns) that are called by the Commanding Instructor.
Right Face: This command means you turn 90 degrees to your right.
Left Face: This Command means you turn 90 degrees to your left.
About Face: This command means you turn 180 degrees spinning to the right.
Center Face: This command means you face your Commanding Instructor.
Half Right Face: This command means you turn 45 degrees to your your right.
Half Left Face: This command means you turn 45 degrees to your left.
Attention: Attention means you stop talking and face your Commanding Instructor.
At Ease: At ease means you place your hands behind your back and face your Commanding Instructor.
Dress right Dress: This means put your right arm up and get your spacing between others.
Ready Front: On this command you drop out of “dress right dress” and look forward.
Present Arms: Present Arms means you salute.
Order Arms: This command means drop your salute.
Fall in: Fall in means you find a parade square, stand on it and wait for directions. Shoulder to Shoulder (STS): This means stand shoulder to shoulder in a line.
Single File Line (SFL): SFL means get in a line behind one another.
Drill (Marching): A sequence of marching commanded presented by the Instructor.
Forward March: This means march forward.
Halt: This Commands STOP!
Column Left March: This means to turn left and stay one behind another.
Column Right March: On this command you turn right and stay one behind another.
Left Flank March: This means all turn left at once and continue marching Shoulder to Shoulder.
Right Flank March: This means all turn right at once and continue marching Shoulder to Shoulder.
From the front to the Rear march: This command means do an About Face and continue marching in that direction.

IV. Education
Education is a major thing in the USMC, here in TECOM we train some of the most elite fighters in the world. It is TECOM's job to educate Marines in everything they need to know to be the best branch and fighting force of the World. We are TECOM we make Marines! Today's students, tomorrow's leaders! OORAH!

V. Recruit Training
Recruit Training, or RT, is the training that teaches Marines the basics of the USMC. In RT, we convert new recruits into mature and battle-ready Marines.

VI. School of Infantry
The School of Infantry, or SOI, is the training that gives new Marines the skills to appropriately engage an enemy in combat. Due to restraints in training capabilities, the SOI is merged into Recruit Training.

VII. OCS
OCS is where you become an officer of the USMC, Being an officer isn’t just a privilege, it’s an Honor. If you pass OCS the duties of an officer will be thrown on you immediately, Here in OCS we teach you how to control the duties of an officer. To attend OCS you must be E4+, or be a Junior Enlisted recommended by a Unit CO.

VIII. Testing
RT Test Test them on ranks Test them on the Code of Conduct Test them on Chain of Command Test them on Drilling Stationary/Marching Test them on USMC History
SOI Test Test them on combat basics Test them on obbies Test them on 3v3 fighting Test them on MarksmanShip Test them on Hand combat
OCS Test Test them on leadership skills Test them on Commanding the Platoon Test them on being under pressure Test them on Code of Conduct Teach them on Chain of Command

IX. Sequence of Events
For any training, Follow the sequence of events. Those are are as followed.
[RT]
1. Have all cadets fall in on Parade square in Charlies for Training opening.
2. Report in.
3. Assign Squad leaders, and Squad Assistants.
4. Conduct Stationary Drill sequence. Help those needed
5. Recreational time (Break) for 2 minutes, let cadets practice what they learned with Squad Leaders.
6. Fall all back in.
7. Conduct Marching Drill Sequence, Help those needed.
8. Recreational time, let cadets practice marching with Squad Leaders.
9. Fall back in.
10. Go to classroom and teach cadets on Ranks, Basic Military, and History in USMC.
11. Test each cadet what they learned using the BMT test found in Section VIIII.
12. Have cadets change to Alphas and fall in on Parade Squares
13. Inspect Each Cadet
14. Have cadets change into Dress Blues one at a time and fall back in.
15. Conduct Ending Ceremony.
16. Promote cadets based on Excellence in class and test score. Highest scoring cadets get promoted.
17. Congratulate the marines whom passed.
18. Final announcements.
19. Close Training.
[SOI]
1. Have all cadets fall in on Parade square in Charlie's for Training opening. 2. Report in.
3. Assign Squad leaders, and Squad Assistants.
4. Have all cadets change into PT gear and fall them back in
5. Take them for a 3 lap run around the entire base.
6. Let them take a 3-4 minute break
7. Have them change into MCCUUs and fall back in.
8. Take them to the obbies.
9. Tell them to go through the obbie one at a time recording the time as they finish
10. Time them again with a buddy
11. Have them fall back in near dressing room
12. Have them one at a time go in and get Charlie's on.
13. Take them to the classroom and teach the cadets the rules on raiding, Teach them Combat skills such as Flanking an enemy, Conserving Ammo, Etc.
14. Have them quickly run to the Dressing room and change into Combats
15. Train them MarksmanShip
16. Have all cadets fall in STS
17. Have an Admin or yourself divide the cadets into two teams naming one team Bravo and the other Delta.
18. Tell them the rules of the raid -Raid Rules: -No Godmode -Shoot of the hats of the enemy -If you team kill you fail -First team to kill enemy Commander wins -No Jumping start -All violators of the rules will fail BCT
19. Assign team Commander Name them “Bravo CMMDR” or “Delta CMMDR”
20. After practice raid fall cadets in.
21. Have cadets change one at a time into Alpha’s
22. Test the cadets using the BCT test in Section VIII
23. Inspect all cadets
24. Have all cadets fall out and get in Dress Blues
25. Cadets Fall back in in Rank Order (Front-Right Highest, Back-Left Lowest)
26. Conduct ending Ceremony (National Anthem) (:music 154965604)
27. Promote the cadets with the highest scores (Obby Time+Test Score+Participation=Score)
28. Close Training
[OCS]
1. Have all cadets fall in on Parade square in Charlie's for Training opening. 2. Report in.
3. Assign Squad leaders, and Squad Assistants.
4. Conduct Stationary and Marching Drill Sequence
5. Fall cadets back in
6. One at a time cadets will come to Instructor Square and introduce themselves
7. March Cadets into Classroom
8. Teach cadets Leadership and what to do as an officer such as Duties as an officer, Responsibilities as an officer Etc.
9. Test each cadet on what they learned so far using OCS test in Section VIII
10. March Cadets out to Parade Square.
11. One at a time have each cadet come up and tell everyone why they want to become an Officer. (must be in depth)
12. Tell cadets to fall out one at a time and get on Dress Blues
13. Conduct Ending Ceremony, and conduct the OATH OF ENLISTMENT!
14. Promote those with highest test scores to O1 unless told otherwise by a superior officer
15. Close OCS __________________________________________________________________________
