She believes that she can learn japanese from anime, while the subtitles arent usually correct, as Japanese has different grammar and syntax than english. She also believes she can become rich off of making an anime, which for one- She has zero competence with computers. Two- She believes her japanese will help
but making an anime costs more than what you earn.

Aside from voice acting, anime doesn't give you crap in America, considering the only thing America does is dub it.
and may the odds be never in your favor |

"who cares let them be"
ideas shouldn't be circulated with the expectation of no resistance |

"ideas shouldn't be circulated with the expectation of no resistance"
if they see that it won't work they learn the lesson themselves, stop trying to use complicated words when in reality you're 12 years old, try to sound like a normal human being |

If you want to know how to structure sentences in any language, you have to know the rules, which is why I can't imagine being able to pick up much more than phrases from anime. |

"big words, 12 years"
Wouldn't it be easier just to tell them that it's stupid? |

| yes it would but let them try it so they'll know for themselves, rather than taking someone's word for it, which they probably won't do regardless |

@SugarRush
Well, when Squirtle used the move Bubbles, i know that it meant "Bolhas".
Yes, games have no logic in real world, but that no means that you can learn words and build logic with them.

So japanese has different syntax and grammar. The direct translation is often incoherent crap, so we edit it a bit to make the translation mean the same thing in English as it means in Japanese. This is why anime wont help you learn japanese |

"yes it would but let them try it so they'll know for themselves, rather than taking someone's word for it, which they probably won't do regardless"
then we agree.
my first statement was, admittedly, poorly worded.
it also didn't adress the topic as neatly as i would've liked. apologies. |
