To get it out of the way, this was quickly made to implement these drills immediately, at the order of TEN. This will be very rough, and a more refined version will follow.
The campgrounds consists of 4 areas: Colors (The 4 by 4 grid of colored square areas) Lines (The lines without the elevated standing point for HRs) Clock (The 4-limbed quadrilateral) Stadium (The lines with the elevated standing point for HRs)
-----
To begin, Colors: The idea of the drill is to have the trainer call out what color you move to... There are a few tricks though- The way it is said, it should be typed in perfect punctuation... "Green.", not "green." or "Green", or "green"
The colors are to be of your best judgement, there are variants of colors... If a color is called, (ex. "Green.") it implies it is the darkest shade of that color. There are light and neon variants of colors. Those are to be decided at your discretion. If you guess wrong, you'll learn quickly. A Lighter shade of a color is implied with a 'L' infront of a color (ex. LGreen), Implies that you go to the light green square. A neon shade of a color is implied with a 'N' infront of a color (ex. NGreen), implies that you go to the neon green square.
If you don't understand this, I suggest you learn quickly.
-----
To follow, Lines: The idea if the drill is quite similar to Colors, just in a different way. Instead of calling colors, you are given a command and are to rotate accordingly... It's really not hard if you see how it's done correctly... The commands are as follows... L - "Left", turn 90 degrees to your left R- "Right", turn 90 degrees to your right A - "About", turn 180 degrees, making you face directly behind your previous direciton C- "Center", Face the direction of which the trainer is standing
More complicated commands are as follows: HL - "Half Left", turn 45 degrees to your left HR- "Half Right, turn 45 degrees to your right
A tip for this excercise is to use the "," and "." keys, as they turn your camera 45 degrees in the corresponding direction, exactly. First person, or ShiftLock, and you can execute these commands with perfection.
-----
To Follow, Clock: As the past 2 sections, The idea is to execute commands efficiently, effectively, and immediately.
The idea of this is to imagine a clock. Each of the 4 limbs of the area correspond with the numbers 12, 3, 6, and 9, depending on where the trainer is facing.
The trainer sits in the middle, and whichever side his front is facing, that is "12 o'clock", making his left and right, 9 and 3 accordingly, also making his 6 directly behind him.
When he calls a number you are to move to it. With more than 1 person, you are to create a CLEAN line (discussed later in the forum) facing INWARD, TOWARDS the trainer.
-----
To conclude, What ESS currently lacks on the field is discipline. These drills enforce discipline, which in turn opens up a world of simple and complicated strategic maneuvers on the field, during a defense or raid. If ESS masters discipline, we will be able to face any clan we wish, and have a significantly higher chance of winning, than if we were to use "Good shots" or accurate shooters that are completely undisciplined.
I wish all of who embark on this training the best of luck, and encourage anyone who isn't, to do so. -BrazdonVI |
