The basic rules of Realistic Professional Soccer, for use in all RPS games. Basically, all soccer rules are in play, and I will be outlining the differences between RPS/MPS.
-Outs ON (no games with walls in leagues, fine for scrims and such) -Cannot throw in to yourself -No drags or glitch kicks- these are glitch moves and there is nothing realistic about them. Classic headers and classic chests are OK. (AKA. Controlling ball with no tool on) -Offsides ON- You cannot be past the last man on your opponents half when the ball is passed to you. (Meaning on your half is OK) (free kick for other team) -Backpassing to GK and the GK catching is not allowed. (indirect free kick) -GK cannot pick the ball up twice, nor can he dribble out of the box, dribble back in, and pick up the ball. (indirect free kick) -Excessive pulling = free kick -Excessive use of lag skilling = free kick and possibly YC or RC if they don't stop -Using block with back (Tackle + X) with your chest is a HAND BALL. (free kick)
Its not easy to tell when someone is using player lag skills, but when its blatantly obvious (ex. excessive sidepass lag spam) free kicks must be awarded. If you think you are good at telling the difference between regular skilling and player lag skilling, you might be a good fit for an RPS ref.
NOTE: IF YOU are NOT the current ref of a game, DO NOT USE ! ADMIN! Only board members may use ! admin, in the case that the ref needs a new ball.
Might be other rules I'm missing, consult me if you have any questions. |
