The game is called space frontier, and is a space exploration rpg.
It is still in alpha (even after 9 months!) so expect plenty of bugs, and a lack of polish. Planning on going into beta by the end of December.
Beta will be when i start introducing more enemy types, world types, sounds, events, mission types... ect. Working on getting everything functional for alpha.
Currently has 500 explorable planets, 6000+ guns, build-able ships (choose a hull,gun type,thruster type,and wings), a leveling system, a gun upgrading system (using ores you find on planets as well as money you earn from killing enemies or finding chests), missions, and lots more.
I have put a TON of effort into this and would like to have some ratings and any positive or negative feedback is welcome.
To rate simply post 1-10, 1 being terrible, 5 being decent, and 10 being front page material. Remember this is alpha, so try to be a bit forgiving when it comes to bugs and/or a lack of polish.

| Oh, and just an fyi it takesa minimum of 160 kills to unlock a new ship blueprint right now. This is because i have the blueprint loot system set up for when i have 30 of each section of the ship, and the closer you get to collecting them all the harder it is to get them, making it seem as though you have 27/30 parts for each section because there are only 3. |

I think a 4 is a bit harsh. Lol.
The main reason to go onto planets is to look for loot and ores, and to find new guns/ship blueprints. You can also grab missions in the spacestation that will reward you when you kill a certain amount of enemies on a planet.
I do agree through, that the planets are a bit empty at the moment (mainly because this is still alpha and i am still working on the engine itself, not the content...). I am planning on adding a few things to help with this though, such as factions (take over planets for your faction to earn rep and possibly rewards from your faction), planet events (such as a wounded npc, that will give you a reward if you protect him from enemies that will start spawning), a revamped enemy ai/spawning system (no specific spawn points, enemies move around objects, unpredictable movements, can spawn in groups, elite enemies), ect.
Also if you find a planet with a moon and get 20 kills you can visit the moon, which is much more dangerous with a ton of loot.
The guis will probably never have the polish as some of the more popular games out there right now, as i try to spend most my time working on the engine. As long as the guis work effectively, i am satisfied.

| Lol. When i start making robux i will for sure. This game has a few things that i am rushing, mainly the guis, because i am on a slight deadline. After the game is finished though, I am planning on improving my developing skills for a while with small projects, namely my building and gui skills, to help with whatever my next game will be. |

Yeah i definitely have alot of balancing to do...
I like the way that ships only move in one plane currently. It makes things very user friendly. A bit less immersive but it makes the game more fun overall.
Again, the guis need alot of improvement. Focusing on the fun stuff first though. :P |

| I like the idea. It's not entirely unique, but it definitely brings some new stuff to the table. I like the idea of "visiting planets." Although I would have to say that my favorite concept in this so far is your inventory. The way it rotates with the mouse and the background of it. Keep up the good work, so far so good. |

| It's a pretty nice game. But 9 months into developement and not having at least pretty decent looking UI, or even sounds in the game is a bit of a turnoff. Oh and you might want to rewrite how often you save player's data because I dc'ed and lost whatever progress I had. |

Yes i agree. I have learned alot since i have started developing and although i am capable of making some pretty decent guis i don't want to have to remake all of them just for the sake of looking nice, as long as they function well.
Yeah, sound is coming very soon, just after my next update (which is going to be factions)
I am quite the fan of space themed games as well. |
