Has grown at least .3 of a centimeter in the last year. Think about that. Just think. A bubble. Sticking on the side of my brain. 3 cm at the minimum in diameter. Uhmm. I saw a picture of how it looked when it was 2.8 It still looked scarily big on the scan. A giant bulge off my brain. /cry |

Um, does this screw up your brain in anyway? Because it sounds sorta fatal. |

@lucky That's the thing. I dont knoooow ;~; They wont drain it until it gets really dangerous. When my doctor glanced over it, he thought it shrunk. On further investigation by my family, it actually grew. Quite a bit.
Still drilling a hole into my skull and sticking a tube in is not exactly the safest thing.

That makes a lot of sense considering.
But in all seriousness, I hope you get it fixed. |

@Blazer Geez. It would be so weird to have something in your brain that isn't supposed to be there. Does it hurt? |

@lucky Meh. It grows so slowly you don't feel it. I will have occasional pains in that area, though. |

| Cyst is just a sac full of fluids, it not life-threatening but it can be a pain and be uncomfortable. It can be removed by medication or by surgery. For your case of it being on your brain, it probably just too much brain fluid (which is transparent in color), for you it probably would require surgery to remove that. |

@Casper Aye. Still. Seeing a giant bulge on my brain is rather unnerving. |

| Yea she got pretty bad headaches so decided to drain it before it grew larger and caused her more discomfort..recovery time was pretty short and she hasn't had any complications following the surgery |

Brain fluid is medically called cerebral fluid, it the fluid the surrounds your brain and protects it. (Not to mention the brain has other protection surrounding such as a lining and the skull itself.)
Random fact, your back of the skull doesn't close completely until age 30. |
