"The Highlander
Fallout: Scotland"
im pretty sure skyrim was based on scotland but of course i'd believe that being from scotland theres plenty of stuff to suggest it is but theres plenty of more stuff to suggest its based on other places
i guess we'll never know unless bethesda told people where it was supposed to be based and i ignored it

| @Jordan Skyrim is definitely Scandinavia, I mean they're called Nords and they have Jarls. |

yeah thats some of the stuff supporting it being based in other countries especially since it's home to nords
the war setting though seems kinda similar to scottish wars of independence i mean the imperials are obviously supposed to be the english, taking a country all about honor and tradition at the time who at first get taken over but the imperials (who would be the english) get pushed out by rebellion (who would be the stormcloaks) (although if you side with the empire then it wont end the same)

a fallout game wouldn't work in your country, foreignerds. the series has the americana theme.
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter. |

Nah Imperials are Romans which you can interpret that they've become overextended which let the Aldmeri conquer them with ease, similar to what happened to Rome powerful at first but invaded from all sides at the end.
Bretons are Bretons obviously.
Alik'r and The Khajiit are styled off of Arabs I think.
There is other races like the Akaviri and Tang Mo who are based on Asia.
A lot of the races are based off real life civilizations. |

I would've figured the Imperials are English because of their accents, I didn't look too much into their history
gotta agree with everything else, especially the redguards and khajit

Tbh the games barely even cover half of the elder scrolls.
Tamriel is the central continent but there's others to like Atmora and so on.
It's a shame that they limit themselves to Tamriel and the elves |

"Don't worry we have like another decade before the next release"
Not if the bad blood between Obsidian and Bethesda has been cleared up. If they're on good terms now, and they do the same thing they did with New Vegas, I'd say 2020 at the latest. |

@dappernarwhal Hoping for this. A decade+ is way too long to wait for another taste of Fallout.

"I'd pay for a revisit to California."
There have already been 3 Fallout games in California, as a decent amount of New Vegas took place in Cali. I'd say Washington or Oregon. Probably Oregon, since there's some stuff going down there with the NCR, and not in Washington. Plus it'd be cool to visit Arroyo. |
