PEOPLE WHO USE WORDS LIKE THEY JUST SWALLOWED A THESAURUS
here's an example from S&I: "Now, I have begun to ruminate on what could be implemented in regards to this 'Chat' feature, and I possess concepts that I regard as fitting for it.
Amongst what I have devised, these 'concepts' range from those that are feasible to those that are a tad nonviable, but I now take the liberty to state a primary implementation that I regard as attainable."
okay, you don't need to look smart that's probably the last thing that should be on your mind here
even worse is when they deny it and say it's their normal vocabulary alright, if it's the standard for you, why did you tell me like this: "dude, i always speak like that, what's wrong with you" |

@lolhatz Oh, that is a rather undeniably delightful word. I'll use it with flawless figurative scripture processes for grammatical perfection. And other unorthodox words. |

So you are mad because someone is trying to speak elaborately?
The English language is dumbing down every minute, look at the way we speak. |

The English language is dumbing down every minute, look at the way we speak." It's just pretentious, that's all. I know the definitions of all those words, but I don't go around speaking like some Rhodes scholar. I'm not saying I'm dumbing down my english, but a lot of people don't understand words like "Ruminate" and "Nonviable".

Yeah, I can agree with you there, but that last sentence is just him taking a 90 degree turn around from obscure words, to the most basic. That just feels like he won't even bother using those words again. |

| I occasionally use large words. They come out automatically when you practice for a long enough time. |
