| And does it make you want to cry, drink your own tears, and then cry again? |

| Well I'm currently in the "drink your own tears" part of the cycle. The crying will resume next semester. |

Word of advice: Choose something easy. Don't overreach. I'm trying to self-publish a book of short stories, and there's a pretty good chance that I'm not going to finish by deadline. |

What is it you guys do for your senior project? In my school, it's something along the lines of choosing a profession, doing community service within that field, and interviewing someone of that profession.

We have the option between a traditional project ( building something, learning a language, learning to dance, writing something, etc. etc.), a community project, an internship, and a research paper. |

Smart. Senior Project can be enjoyable, but it can also be a heavy burden. |

Wait, so if learning a language can be your project, couldn't you just do three years of a language course and then base a project off it?

There has to be a learning stretch to your project. If you're already familiar with the language (and they would know), then they would decline your request and make you choose something else. |
