"i went back and did institute and felt better"
I did the institute my first playthrough, felt kinda bad because you basically oppress everyone
but the absolute worst part is that six hours of game time later, i realized. I hadn't killed maxson and looted his sweet ass coat. RIP. |

and then you talk to father.
RIP FEELS. |

tbh all the endings are pretty bad
i mean i haven't done railroad or minutemen because railroad stands for the dumbest things and i was too lazy to set up more communities for minutemen but still |

well basically you retake the castle, do a couple more missions, and then it's all radiant quests to get settlements and help your settlements
at this point i'm emptying the entire map for scrap to build with |

the fallout 3 liberty prime fight was more exciting lmao.
this was like 1 minute walks without fighting then like, 3 synths that die instantly. |

I have yet to play FO4, but once I get a current-gen console and FO4, then I will kiss my social life goodbye.
Well, my best friend may come over to play and watch it. |

@Tsy
I have watched a bit of it online, but not the main quest to be honest. I am just looking at people play side quests. |

As is the case with nearly EVERY SINGLE GAME RELEASED THE PAST 2 YEARS the ending was kind of rushed.
Why does every game now have such a great build up and underwhelming ending?
But yeah Fallout 4 is awesome. Only complaint is the DJ is annoying and lame, the songs are the same ones from NV and 3 but with like 5 new ones and the new ones are rarely played because the radio is messed up so you hear the same songs over and over.
I put so many hours into NV and 3 that I would like a new soundtrack, not the same one I've already heard a million times. But when I turn the radio off, I am forced to listen to the background music which is nowhere near as memorable or spooky as FO3's. FO3's made you feel like you were alone and like everything was hopeless, but in 4 it just feels too welcoming and crap.
Plus the loot system kind of sucks because there's hardly any unique items. |

There's a few good unique weapons, but they're really into the legendary enemy thing this game.
I have a Ghoul-Killing Gamma Gun in my workshop at the Red Rocket. It's such a disappointment. |

I mean like, Fallout 3 and New Vegas had unique weapons with skins and stuff. This game just changes it's properties or gives it a mod. Plus since every legendary enemy drops a 'legendary weapon', they don't feel special. There's a legendary enemy in almost every battle. It's like, I don't even feel surprised when I see them. Legendary enemies should be legendary, and require actual effort to get to. Legendary enemies are in huge abundance and it just makes the legendary aspect feel not so legendary.
Plus the outfits in this game, god. There isn't much customization. You have 2 kinds of raider armor, metal, leather, and combat armor, and like 10 under shirts. Everything else is either a suit or a coat.
Fallout 3 and New Vegas had really cool looking armors (ranger armor and chinese stealth suit for example). They made you really wanna go out and look for them but Fallout 4 doesn't really have any. The only cool unique clothing I found that was actually useful was the silver shroud outfit, and it's way too cartoony for me.
Idk hopefully the dlc fix this. |

"had unique weapons with skins and stuff."
FO4 has them too, you just have to look a lot harder. For instance, get the mission for captain ironsides on the USS Constitution and he'll give you the broadsider which is basically a handheld naval cannon |

well they haven't even started on the DLC yet from what I heard, and there more focused on patching bugs and updating the game to meet player demands in the next month
however I am convinced the first dlc will be in the mojave since Jack Cabot said he was planning an expedition there for that alien city or whatever
if that means I can get ranger armor again then well Bethesda can just have my freakin wallet |
