Sometimes, I just think back to memories of when I saw others enjoying "happiness." It is such a disappointing emotion to have the burden of observing. It is as if you can see the people suffering but not being aware of it. Would it not be a better idea to just suffer and know about it rather than to unconsciously suffer? They may experience this emotion at one moment, however it only takes a few words for it to be ruined. In conclusion, Happiness is a momentary pleasure used only by those who do not see the greater purpose. I'm referring to those who do not see the life of eternal struggle where one must fight to simply be able to survive another day in a competitive society where a man cannot trust another. |

| What exactly "is" happiness? You consider it a flaw, but you haven't even defined it. |

"What exactly "is" happiness? You consider it a flaw, but you haven't even defined it."
The dictionary definition of this word is of the feeling of "pleasure," however I find this definition inadequate. There should not be a set definition for this word, rather it should be a feeling associated with desires that are not met and as the failed attempt at wanting to stop suffering. The word can simply not be described in words; however one can grasp the concept by enduring through the years of suffering that I have went through, as well as observing lesser beings for an extended amount of time. |

If happiness is a flaw, then why do memes exist?

You are attempting to define happiness to fit your argument, friend, rather than proving that your argument applies to happiness. You claim that it, by the dictionary, exclusively refers to pleasure" rather than some other definition.
Let us look to the different definitions of happiness, as posited by historical thinkers.
Aristotle defines it as "a state of virtue", such that the pursuit of perfect virtue by way of balance is the pursuit of happiness. Epicurus defines it as "a state without pain", which does not necessarily imply the pursuit of pleasure (in fact, Epicurus argues against the pursuit of pleasures).
Perhaps happiness is a moral state corresponding to virtue as opposed to a physical state corresponding to pleasure, such as euphoria.
As you can see, the definitions of happiness are varied. If you would like to advance your point, I'd like you to present a definition of happiness (as we understand it) and go on to argue that it is, in fact, a flaw. |

"If happiness is a flaw, then why do memes exist?"
Memes were created once our fathers found out that the next generation would be lesser than them, once they found out that they must indoctrinated. As a result, supporters of each side of the Second Great War created these "memes" to indoctrinate us without us knowing it. For example, the meme "420" is a reference to the birth date (4/20) of a man that we should all look up to, a true humanitarian, our beloved leader. |
