I've been making Naruto scripts. Right now i am working on fire release and i was surprised to see that one of my moves had broke during scripting. It was the Fire Dragon Jutsu. The argument clarified was suppose to make the dragon head shoot in the direction of the player's torso and it does...Until you MOVE. if you move your character a bit and try again the part gets created but just kinda sits there in front of you. Here's the script: local p = Instance.new('Part') game.Debris:AddItem(p,5) p.Parent = game.Workspace p.CanCollide = false p.BrickColor = BrickColor.new('Really red') p.Size = Vector3.new(10,10,5) p.Transparency = 0.5 p.CFrame = char.Torso.CFrame*CFrame.new(0,0,-2) p.TopSurface = 'Smooth' p.BottomSurface = 'Smooth' local m = Instance.new('SpecialMesh') m.Parent = p m.MeshType = 'FileMesh' m.MeshId = 'http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id=24478215' m.Offset = Vector3.new(0,1,0) m.Scale = Vector3.new(5,5,5) local v = Instance.new('BodyVelocity') v.Parent = p v.MaxForce = Vector3.new(math.huge,math.huge,math.huge) v.Velocity = char.Torso.CFrame.lookVector*80
and yes all variables are specified. No errors are given and the script runs all the way through. |

I bet you didn't do it wrong. It's a very strange and unknown issue where if you size a part in a specific way, even with any formfactor or using any form of mesh, even if it's not anchored or cancollide, it sits there and does nothing. Likely an error on ROBLOX's part, and it doesn't happen too often, it just depends on the size of the part. Try editing the size of the part a bunch, preferably smaller, and see if it works.

| its not copied. I just learned these techniques from that tutorial. He never said how to insert meshes by script and he used different variables...Anyways thats for that one serious answer. |

| The fact you think your almost fluent, shows your ignorance, anyhow. The part must be a ball shape. |

| I found a solution. Sonic you were way off btw. It was caused by stating the size of the part being to big and CFraming it into the baseplate therefore it wouldn't move. The mesh had me fooled because it made the part appear to be above ground while it was actually stuck. I dont know however why it would work even if i jumped....Oh well. Whats fixed is fixed. |
