I'm ignoring the current college football playoff rankings, so this MIGHT stir things up depending on what you think. Disclaimer: A lot of big games for these teams in the coming weeks, I am waiting until those are played out before I make my 100% final predictions
1 Clemson 11-0 - unbeaten, has looked very good in every game
2 Alabama 10-1 - one loss but playing fantastic
3 Notre Dame 10-1 - only loss by two points to Clemson, sloppy game vs BC but still great
4 Iowa 11-0 - unbeaten and has some impressive wins, been solid
5 Oklahoma 10-1 - impressive wins on road vs Tennessee and Baylor, played TCU close but w/o QB for some
6 Michigan State 10-1 - impressive nonconf win vs Oregon, won vs Ohio, 7 Baylor 9-1 - only loss is to a great Oklahoma team
8 Ohio State 10-1 - have been impressive recently but keep them here until they beat Michigan
9 Oklahoma State - have played a lot of poor teams close this season
10 Florida 10-1 - wins have been really underwhelming lately, they're a good team but barely top 10 |

Well, impressive might've been the wrong word, but they definitely have at least ONE with their 40-10 win over 9-2 Northwestern.
But, they also beat Pitt (who is 8-3 and their losses have come to teams that are a combined 31-2) and Wisconsin (also 8-3)
And aside from all that, an unbeaten FBS team is nothing to scoff at, I'm a firm believer that if a power 5 team goes unbeaten and plays even a barely decent non-conference schedule they should get in, which is exactly Iowa's case. If they can win out, beating Nebraska and win the Big Ten Title, they should definitely be in, and I think they should be in right now as well. |

They might be 10-1, but
-their loss came to 3-8 South Carolina. That can't be overlooked as a "fluke", every game counts -Have a terrible non-conference schedule. At least Iowa played Pitt and went @ Iowa State. Bombed their biggest non-conference game vs a terrible South Carolina team -They've had some good performances recently but I'm honestly more impressed with some of Florida's conference wins. |

Ohio State only got in because of their amazing performances/quality wins after the game
North Carolina has none that are truly of note so far and would need a big win over Clemson to be in contention for a spot |

You are trashing MSU and saying positive stuff about them at the same time? They are top 4.
